Hey this post is about Rodney not AAU. lol. I know him and his parents. He is a great kid with a lot of upside. I have his parents number if anyone wants it. Parents would love for him to get a scholarship to further his education, not just basketball. Lets all get together and get this kid in school. He deserves it. I think he would be a great player in the SLC, with added strength and more knowledge of the game. Lamar should do him like they did Boshi. I know for a fact he is willing to do that.SOME ONE CONTACT TIC PRICE. ASAP

All 4 High School teams wil play in Louisville . Gold and Black will play in the Elite Division. White in the 10th grade division and Grey in the 9th grade Division. Gold and Black have to place in the top 32 teams to play in Atlanta in the Under Armour Cup
-
Golden Triangle Elite has 4 High School Teams (Gold, Black, White and Grey) and 7th Grade and 6th Grade team. Has put almost every player from their organization in college (D1, D2, D3, NAIA, Juco). They're a sponsored Under Armour program this year. They'll be playing on the Under Armour Circuit in Louisville July 6-8, and Atlanta(July 27-29).
-

Congrats PA Memorial. Now we are looking like a team. If we don't play selfish. We could make some noise in Reg. 3
-
PA Memorial Got OUTCOACHED Simply as that. Memoral had a height advantage in the post and did not once pass the ball into the post. Ozen tallest girl was 5'8 at best and Memorial has 6'2, 6'1 and 6'0 and not once passed the ball inside to take advantage of their height. They went 4-25 from 3 point range. UNACCEPTABLE. Long rebounds led to easy transition baskts for Ozen. Whats the use of having a post player if you are not going to use them. This is the 2nd game this season Memorial has lost because they wont use their post, they rather shoot 3's. Against Atasocita they shot over 30 3 pointers. Ford spent last night on the perimeter against smaller players.
-
PA Memorial Girls beat Lumberton Gils 75-67. Game had a lot of fouls called. 1st game I guess for everybody. Both teams will make a good run for District titles and in the playoffs.
-
PA Memorial by at least 10 to 15 points. Memorial is bringing back everyone from last year. Their frontline will be the key to this game. They consist of 6'1 Jakera Ford Jr. , 6'0 Tyler Sellers Sr. 6'3 Kennedi Lofton So. and they have a 6'3 post on the bench. The PG Joyce Kennerson will handle whatever pressure Lumberon has. Probably be a remake of the championship game of the YMBL. Lumberrton does have Megan Worry and a good freshman in Megan Wilkerson.

Golden Triangle Elite Gold went 4-0 this weekend in the NCAA Approved Showcase in Houston The John Lucas Last Stand. It was a showcase for girls to play in front of over 60 - 70 College Coaches in attendance. They had teams from Virginia, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Louisiana and Oklahoma. The team played very good and impressed a lot of college coaches that where there.
Members of the team was Megan Worry Sr. (Lumberton), Taylor Jacks Sr. (Lumberton), Alix Sellers So. (Lumberton), Kennedi Lofton So. (PA Memorial), Megan Wilkerson Fr. (Lumberton), Essence Templeton So. (Ozen), Derrica Garrett So. (Central), Savana Sr. (Evadale), Tori Thompson Sr. (LCM).

PA Memorial girls won the Central Summer League Basketball Tournament. They defeated Lumberton, Orangefield and central for the championship. The young ladies played all summer some real good basketball, and showed a lot of improvement. Joyce Kennerson, Kennedi Lofton, Autum Jones and Chenelle Babineaux really played good. Jakera Ford didn't play in the league. This year PA Memorial should make a push for state.
-
Congrats to Golden Triangle Elite Girls Organization. All 3 teams played very well in there first showcase of the year.
GTE - Gold went 1 - 2 Played in the Division 1 Showcase Games
GTE - White went 2 -1 Played in the Division 2 Showcase Games
GTE - Black went 2 - 1 Played in the Varsity Division and lost in the semi-finals in bracket play
Players are from all over the Golden Triangle Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange, Lumberton, Orangefield, Cleveland and other places.
These young ladies are all going to be something special

Need info on West Brook's Rodney Brown
in High School Boys Basketball
Posted
My son actually went there last year to play basketball got red-shirted and ended up running cross country and running track. He made all conference in the triple jump. and had a 3.6 GPA. Great school that really cares about their students succeeding after college. Rodney will do great there.
