NO! NO! NO!.... DO NOT be loud when we are on offense, PLEASE, goodness, what you said on defense, but it needs to be like a Church Sermon when we're on offense, we need SILENCE... SERIOUSLY.

Looks like a quality program with quality kids, they have fantastic facilities.  Looking forward a game that may be more respectful than what the last team brought.  Too many on that team that you could NOT pull for.  I like walking out of a place feeling good about what happened, either way.  I would not have felt congratulatory over some of the antics and disrespectful behavior from last week's team.  GT looks and sounds like a class program, looking forward to it.

No predictions on the outcome, other than this, if White runs it 40 times tonight, Dawson wins and he will need a boat load of Ibuprofen in the morning.  Lets hope the winner comes out healthy.

two peas in a pod... both knock it off... I'm just wondering if they're getting washed, that's all I draw the line at... unless you have a long hitting streak, that's totally different.

I tend to agree with you regarding Dawson's offense, I'm sure it is potent and I don't think we will be able to dominate with our defense like usual due to the amount of speed that will be on the field.  We will need to force a couple of turnovers and make a few stops here and there, but to think we will shut this group down will be tough.  What I do think may happen, is Nederland runs the football and chews clock which may put some pressure and cause frustration if the Dawson offense is forced to punt a few times early.  Nederland's game plan is like often times like that anasthetic at the hospital, one second you're talking to the nurses, the next second you wake up and lost an appendix or something.  They tend to shorten the game with their running game, I don't think Dawson will enjoy playing in a game like that if it turns into that type of game... and that's what Nederland should try to do.  And it will be frustrating.

Nederland's crowd will have to get raucous like back in the day to be a factor, lots of people do no good if they aren't LOUD, LOUD, LOUD.  Showin up don't count.

I think Nederland fans would have been pulling for SC if they hadn't shown their backsides with every win... showed no class... get no respect.  And it got worse after you were bounced.  We don't care if you pull for us or not, we've been here before and know how to win and lose with class.

Can't be this, because the Nederland front will be better than the Dwoson front... pick another one.  I think it's the PD backs versus the ability of Ned backers to pursue.

Yes 17 straight is a stretch, we had 11 straight and were bumped the year DAYTON beat us 63-0, we did go 7-3 that year, but missed the playoffs if memory serves correct.  But made it every year prior to and since.  And 6 playoff games the past two years, that's a pretty good little two year run.... and still going.

We'll be chillin in Reliant next Friday, for our 6th playoff game in the last two years.  We may lose, but PD will know they were in a WAR.  And if we do lose, we'll tip our cap and congratulate the better team.  We won't talk about the boogie man, the guy on the grassy knoll, or any other myths... we'll just congratulate our boys on a fabulous run, soak in the moment, then move on with our lives with the history these kids have made.  I'd put our boys up against anyone, and hate that SC couldn't hold up to their end of the bargain.  Wrote a check their high flyin offense couldn't cash.

Summer Creek has turned itself into the LAUGHING STOCK of this board.  Keep going boys, my stomach hurts.

The folks on this board are very football savvy and will enforce the unwritten rules of competition on the message board, and thus will not let you SC fans off the hook without ensuring you have your humble pie force fed down your throats.  Make sure you chew it well.

Summer Creek gets more embarrassing as a COMMUNITY with every post.  Sad Situation.

It has been quite obvious that Summer Creek was not focused on the next game, the next play, the next opponent in front of them.  They've been too caught up talking down other teams versus focusing on taking care of their own business.  This comes with experience, since they've never been there, I'll chalk this up to just pure ignorance of how to handle the situation.  Maybe they'll be better at it next year.... Lord knows they struggled at it this year and lost ANY and ALL respect they may have earned without all the blow hards on this board.  Attitude is contagious, from the fans to the parents, to the kids... keep your head down and go to work, things may work out different next time.  And then maybe folks will pat you on the butt and say good job.  As it is, they're saying good riddance.

Classic sign of an unconfident team searching to build itself up... we don't have to play silly stat/situation games, how many water breaks did your team take during the game against so and so... look, we don't have to wonder about that.  We know exactly what we have over here, I don't think you TRULY do, and you're trying to understandably build yourself up... I can understand that.  We've been here, these kids grew up living this, your high flying offense doesn't mean squat over here.

Razor, some folks just don't know REAL football, this ain't 7 on 7.  They will find out this ain't touch football.  Like you said, wasting your breath trying to help DEMDAWGS see the light, kid has humblegoggles on.  I do hope they make it to find out what real TEXAS football defense is.
