If Thomas is healthy no one in 24aa handles him.You just have to hope to keep him from breaking the long runs.There is no doubt he is the heart and soul of this club on both sides of the ball.

No disrespect intended,just wondering why the big point spread.I've seen several Kountze post that said they should have beaten Buna.I watched Buna at EC and I think they are the best team in our district but I don't see 30 points difference in any of these clubs.Buna has to be the favorite but the Warren kids will show up and play hard.

He's tough as a boot,if he can walk he'll play.

I've seen Beep ball teams that wouldn't get beat 39-0,geez that's tough.

Lord thats the second one of those type scores I've heard this week.Are these clubs really that BAD!!!Anyone gets beat 92-4 might as well start warming up pitchers cause there basketball season is history.

I noticed looking at several different schedules that some of the better teams aren't in the Evadale tourney this year.Looks like they lost HJ,EC and Liberty to name a few.Does anyone know who all is in it this year?

Yep, but they wouldn't have to this year.They will win 24a regardless of who they play in the non district schedule.Anytime you play Kountze and EC you play a tough schedule.

Kountze wins if they aren't in the football playoffs.If they are New Waverly probably beats their second group.

These 2 clubs played each other alot during the off season last year both at Warren and Jasper and Brookeland.These games were always very competetive.Neither club will have much time to work as a team so I wouldn't put a whole lot in it either way.It will be a good chance for Warren to see the kind of athletes they will see in the district.I think it will be a pretty close game,I wish it was in Warren.

I wouldn't put a lot of weight on the non district schedules in 24aa this year.There are some teams that are playing brutal schedules that will help get them ready for the district grind.They may not have a real good record but the will be ready to play when it counts.The 2 toughest look to be Anahuac and EC . Kountze always plays a tough preseason schedule.Anyone wanting to compete in this district better have the kinks worked out by mid December.

Unfortunately for Warren Parker has a pretty bad ankle injury and he is one of the main pieces to the Warrior club.He will be hard to replace,fullback,middle linebacker and kicker.You might want to remember LionHeart this is a Warren club that Kountze was very fortunate to beat by 1.Anything can happen in this district this year so I'm holding off on the predictions good luck Warriors.

This is a game of matchups.If Tramain is healthy EC can defend Marsh and they win this ballgame.If he isn't they simply aren't strong enough in the secondary to shut the Hardin recievers down.I really hope Thomas can go simply because he is a class young man who deserves to finish his high school career on the inside of the white line.Congrats to both clubs,it is an accomplishment to be playing on the last night with so much at stake.Only the EC trainer knows who wins this one.

If you think you have 3 eighth graders that could have played on Kountzes varsity last year your dreaming.Kountze will be good,no doubt,but they had about 80 points a game that graduated.EC will be the favorite in the district simply because the have the districts best player.I may be wrong but I don't see Kountze being near as big as they were last year and that will hurt them on the defensive side of the ball.

I f they don't win next week they may not make the playoffs.They would have 2 losses while Buna and Hardin would have 1 each.Kountze could also have 2 losses.Hummmm this could be interesting!!!!!!!

Warren -30 Anahuac -28 Good job Warriors!

WH will still be strong enough to beat SP and HI.I really don't think they have enough guns to challenge for the playoffs this year.Tyler won't get many open looks this year once the district rolls around.I think he is gonna have to work a little to hard getting the ball down the floor to put up big numbers.Letsinger,Simmons and Tomlinson will be missed more than some folks think.I still say if the Oilers play 500 ball the new guy should be coach of the year.

Good luck lady Warriors .This club is gonna be solid for the next several years.Shaina Brent and Alysa Hatton are going to be the real deal before they are through and Burns and Walters will also return next year.Hope to see a "W" ON THE BOARD TOMORROW NIGHT.

That should have them ready BC will be a year older and will be better,got a chance to play LCM and Vidor this summer they will both be pretty good and Kirbyville will be loaded with athletes.They wont get much out of High Island or Sabine Pass but those have been on their schedule for the past few years.Deweyville will be very competetive as long as Bland is healthy and playing.Most of what they do will start with him on the defensive end.Thats where they struggled last year when they lost him on the rebounding end.

I don't know how many of either team play football but both schools will probably still be in the playoff picture.Barbers Hill won't be bad.I got a chance to watch Y'barra this summer and he can play.They were beating Kountze until they made massive sustitutions with some young kids.This game will be close and this early in the season it will be a toss up.I'm going with the eagles because of a decent inside game.BH by 6.

I'm trying to get it to bobcatfan4life to post.It should get them ready this year.They play Bridge City,Jasper,Liberty and Tarkington on the non district side.I think Spurger is the only 1-a school on it this year.I know they don't play High Island,Sabine Pass,Colmesneil or Chester anymore.They are going to a tournament in Zavalla that usually has a real good field.

Is Folsom going to be able to play?He looked like he had a pretty severe shoulder injury in the football game at Warren.

This may be the only time some of these sub varsity players get the individual help they need.Anyone not playing another sport needs to start the very first day the UIL says its OK.It's unfortunate that some AD'S think there isn't but 1 sport.
