How did the Folsom kids shoulder get. Is he gonna be OK?

Drove down with some friends from Warren to watch this one and all I can say is WOW!! This was a great high school football game.There were no losers on the field in Winnie tonight.Good luck to both clubs in the playoffs.

Buna posted 412.5 last year.I don't think they have dropped 42 kids since school started.They were real close to the limit last year.They are by far the biggest school in 24aa.

It's extremely hard to say who is the best player at any position or sport in the high school level.Both these guys are great examples of fitting into a scheme.They both do what their coaches ask them for the team to be successful.Jordan fits in to the scheme that coach Haynes runs as does Tramain.I think anyone who has seen Tramain play knows he is the best athlete in 2-a ball around these parts.The kid is unreal.Jordan is doing a great job this year also,that should be good enough.They are both pretty darn good.

I'm sure Tiff will address this with the young man that posted it.I hope for his sake it doesn't come to a confrontation cuz I'd like Tiff in that battle ;) I'm sure this was all in fun but seriously the young lady is a great example of what hard work can do for a player in any sport.

I don't think he meant Warren had the best 5 athletes in the district,we all know Thomas is the best 2-a player probably in the state.Catman was talking about depth.Warren has 5 pretty solid players.I'm afraid you haven't seen the Warren kids play lately if you think this is gonna be a cakewalk for anyone in this district.Warren and EC is usually a pretty good game,EC holds a 3-2 advantage over the last 3 years and beat Warren by 10 last year.I may be wrong but I think that gap has closed a little with the graduation of Leday and Guillory.Warren and Kountze are closer than alot of folks think and Hardin and Deweyville are gonna be capable of having big nights also.Throw in Anahuac and this isn't a 2 team race anymore.And I promise ya Carter can coach with anyone in the district.

Dville has a bout 60 less kids than Warren and abot 60 more than West Hardin so its gonna be tough to move them down.The cutoff for 2-a will probably be around 200 or so.

Actually we were shooting 3's,and these 3 can shoot it. ;D ;D ;D

Jarvis Bernard-HJ ,Paul Sims -Warren,Tyler Copeland-West Hardin.All 3 of these guys are capable of lighting it up on any given night.You definitely wouldn't want to get in a game of horse with these 3 ,they would take your lunch money ;)

Not very deep and not very disciplined. HJ by 30.

She could flat play, I saw her in Warren as a freshman.I knew that night she was gonna be the real deal.I wonder how she is doing in college??

Kountze doesn't have the size or speed in the secondary to match up with Hardin.If all Hardin's weapons are playing theY win this one by a couple of TD'S.Kountze is good against the run thats why they played Buna close.The are vulnerable to the pass and Hardin will throw it 45 times in this one. Hardin-35 Kountze-20

PATS cost us 3 games last year and were the difference in the kountze game this year.This is the one part of Warrens game that disappointed me because there were several kids on the team that could kick,it just never was worked on.Hopefully the boys can play hard the last 2 weeks and make the district a little closer for some teams on the bubble.

Not much different from Warren.Both clubs dresses 19 players on friday.I think Warren has about 35 more students but most are in the freshman class.Its the biggest class by far in the high school.

I haven't seen HD since last year but I got watch Spurger and WH both alot this summer and Spurger is the better of those 2 clubs.Of course anything can happen when it's game time so they always have a shot.Copeland is a very good player but his role is going to change drastically this year.

Refresh my memory.Didn't EC win that game pretty convincingly ???.Kounte is improved this year,but there still not a playoff team.

To beat EC you will have to contain Thomas,notice I said "contain" not stop.Most of his plays are of the break away variety.You think you have him for a short gain and the next thing you know you are looking at the back of the #1.Swarm to the ball you gotta chance ,unfortunately for the Cougars I don't think they have quite enough defensive speed to do that.The Cougars have a tremendous team but I think the speed of EC wins this one .Now when you get in the playoffs everyone geys a little faster.

This had been brewing all week.Its a shame to see good folks act like this.The Colmesneil atheletic program has really taken a down turn in recent years.Congrats Chester on the win.

Kid made a super catch in double coverage right before the half.He got hurt on the tackle which occurred at the 2 yard line.I am a diehard Warrior fan but you had to feel for the kid.The injury didn't look good,you could tell when he came off the field the shoulder wasn't where it was supposed to be.

Congrats Lady Warriors on being co-champs.This group has really developed througout this season.They don't look like the club I saw early in the season.Several very good young players on this team,the future looks bright for the girls in Warren.Good luck tuesday night.

The film crew had some technical problems.I taped the tailgate party where I could watch the catch again and they didn't show it.Channel 4 was there also I don't know if they got it or not.Nash came up huge on that drive.Does anyone know how the Folsom kids arm is?It didn't look good when he left the field at halftime.Hope he's OK.

I may know more about them than u think.Really though I base my opinion more on Sabine Pass' club than I do WH.The Oilers lost a ton of talent but still have a couple of pretty good players,I honestly think thats enough to beat Sabine Pass.

The only thing that could keep West Hardin from beating Sabine Pass is another hurricane : : :.

Both these teams have nothing to be ashamed of.They both suited out less than 20 kids last nite so just about all of them went both ways.The 2nd half was as hard of hitting as you'll see in 2-a ball by both clubs.A high snap on a punt by the Warriors and a fumble by the Pirates on the goal line late in the 4th were about the only mistakes I saw.This was really a well played game.

Cmon cat you can't hide em but 3 more days,they start practice Wednesday. ;D ;D ;D
