Oh i know about Romero. Lets see if he can catch Bolinger.
Bolinger probably has nightmares about Romero still from last year, Bolinger had him a good run going untill Romero caught him on the twenty and stripped the ball and recoverded it for PNG .....Take a look ;) [Hidden Content]
Gee I wonder whose gonna cover Bolinger in this game?
God i can't wait for this game. Yes yall did get lucky last year with a bs strip of the ball when Bolinger was already down but i'll go ahead and give it to you. Now lets talk stats. Last year Vidor was average somewhere around 240 yards a game and less than 20 points. Now look at it. This year (not district, the whole year) we are averaging 347 yards per game with 307 of that being rushing yards. Your defense is giving up an average of 341 yards per game with 237 of that in rushing. There's only one team that gives up more yards than yall and that freaking Lumberton. And there are only two teams that give up more rushing yards than yall and thats Lumberton and Central. Vidor has the 3rd best defense points wise, the 2cd best defense yards wise, the BEST run defense in the league, and the 3rd best pass defense. All this bs about we haven't faced the best offense team is just stupid. And as for the fumble thing with Bolinger, he has not let go of the ball at all this year. Yes last year he had a problem with fumbles but from the looks of it he fixed it. I'd love to see Romero take the ball from this year. Good luck.
You might need to check your own stats. I noticed how you included the whole year instead of district. Including a couple of 3a teams. Scoring Avg Yrds Rushing Passing VID 26.8 328.4 280.4 48.0
Yes i included non district. A non district schedule that featured a Very good powerhouse 4A team in Texas High, another team that went to the state game two years in a row before this and a very good BC team. BC who held WOS to 6 points. The same WOS that scored 20 points on your Nederland defense. So i say again Scoring Avg Yrds Rushing Passing VIDOR 16.4 230.6 140.1 90.5
C'mon man! That KVille team is no where near what the past two KVille teams were. They are horrible this year!
Never said they were a great team. Just said that they went to the state game the last two years. Yes they are a down year but that doesn't change the fact that as a 3A team they went to the state championship game two years in a row.
Coldsprings beat them in the playoffs last year and played Carthage in the state game, so last year Kirbyville did not make it to the state game.

Orangefield at Hardin-Jefferson Predictions

It would be nice to see Orangefield get into the playoffs rather than BC, but either team will get beat by Coldsprings in the 1st round. -
Throw down at the Dirty Bay! BH Vs. GCM
AOO7 replied to BHFAN's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I would comment on the arrogance of the GCM fans now a days, but no one can exceed the BH arrogance (other than Huffman of course) Hopefully GCM wins this game. -
Good luck to GCM.

2011 Highway 90 Shootout: Crosby vs. Dayton
AOO7 replied to dayton's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Dayton should win. Won't be pretty because the Broncos aren't having their best year, I figure with their pre season success they would blow through district again but it looks like the loss to BH took a toll on the team. They need to get their heads on straight and stomp Crosby into the ground if they want to establish themselves once again. -
Should be a good game.

The sanctity of the locker room has been violated
AOO7 replied to pngpurple4ever's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Shame on the player who turned that in. Any player on a team should want what is best for his team, and having a coach resign for something like that is not in the best interest of his teams success. -
Don´t know about this game, but ...... I suspect that by now just about everyone knows that if you give Gilbert half a step, it is TD time. From what I have seen, he has the speed of his brother. I saw both play hs ball and and his brother, per OSU website (last year) is the fastest human at Oklahoma State (including the track team). I am curious to see how highly recruited Sherman will become.
His brother is 6ft 205 pounds, Sherman isn't. Surely one of the smaller Texas schools will serve as a home to him after high school, SFA, SHSU something like that?
We'll see. I think if we beat Channelview, regardless of the outcome of the LP game in week 10, we should make it in. But I'm as stumped as anybody as to how we'll do (no pun intended ;) )....and I'm usually pretty good at predicting the outcome of WB's games. Right now, I just dont know.....
haha

I cant say that about the Liberty/ Cleveland game.Liberty could lead 21-0 in the first but Deel can find away to lose it or Cleveland could lead it 21-0 in the first and Deel could pull a rabbit out of his hat.I think Liberty should win it but not sure. Coldspring takes this over Huffman 38-28 in hard fought game, pray nobody gets hurt, would like to see both these teams go deep into the playoffs.
Jordan Jones pulled a rabbit out of his hat against Kelly. And against Huffman, you can't just blame Deel for turnovers and dropped passes, I do however believe he should have rushed more than 3 players at Townley all night.
It wouldn't of made a difference anyway ;).
Alright.

Because they more than likely have not seen them play this year. All they are going by is their stats against teams thats no comparison againt us. I mean dont even compare our defense to clevelands. And yall didnt blow them out. Thats an average game for us. Go look and see our scores, with 2nd and 3rd string in the whole 2nd half. but anyways you only have four days left, and then you will see what we are saying. Coldspring 60 Huffman 7 maybe 14
Yeah I forgot 49-3 isn't a blowout ::). I'm sorry we don't run up the score and try to beat everyone by 70. BTW you are right I haven't seen coldspring, but have you seen Huffman?
I've seen CS and Huffman both this year. Coldsprings 2nd and 3rd string play the 2nd and 3rd quarters and they still win 60+ to 0, you saying that they try to beat everyone by 70 and run up the score is crazy, they run the ball every single play, it's not their fault the other teams cant shed the blocks of their 3rd stringers, let's also remember they only have about 500 kids at their entire school. Huffman on the other hand, let's chunk up hail marrys so it doesn't look like Shepherd came close, or pass every down to CS run every down and still only score 40 something on Splendora.

What would have to happen (assuming Liberty beats Cleveland and loses to Coldspring) for Liberty to play any other team other than WOS in the first round?

Cleveland vs Liberty Game of the Week.
AOO7 replied to Texasminuteman's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Before this last Friday I would say Liberty wins this by 3 TD's. But the way that they played Splendora, I can't say that. I have seen glimpses of what Liberty is capable of this year, 5 scores in the 3rd quarter against Porter, 2nd half comeback against Kelly, 1st half dominating performance over Shepherd, but I have also seen how flat they can get, like against Huffman and in the 1st half of the Splendora game. If Liberty doesn't come out flat they will win, if Cleveland can put together 4 good quarters however, they can give Liberty some problems, this season Liberty has put together more solid and less sloppy performances than Cleveland so the odds are in favor of the Panthers. -
Jordan Jones from Liberty, SETX sophomore of the year, 22-3A newcomer of the year, 4th in SETX this year in receiving and also made the list for rushing. Leads 22-3A in receiving and is also carrying the ball quite a bit for the Panthers.

Liberty 56 Splendora 0 No mistakes like against shepherd, the score was 42-2??? Until they put the back ups in, Shepherd's defense is better than Splendora's so 42 goes to 50+ the dumb mistakes like the safety is cut out and the defense plays hard for 4 quarters. The Liberty starters need to stay in the game for 4 quarters so that they are in Friday night shape for Coldspring.
