  1. I know Chester's program has been shaky in the past, but I don't think it was completely because of the kids. They always put a couple of athletes on the field, I think its greatly due to a shaky program and inconsistency. Regardless, them sharks need to shape up a bit. District is just around the corner and that #3 spot is up for grabs!! Congrats Chester!
  2. Dibol by 18. I'm pulling for them Panthers, though. Dibol might be just a little too much.
  3. That's funny right thurr!! I'm taking Hardin in this one, only because Evadale played Deweyville to alot closer game than they did Kountze. I don't know much about the Pirates except for the fact that they always come to rumble. Hardin will earn every thing they get, but they'll pull this one out by 10. What I wear so noone can see my facial expressions after games = 8)
  4. I'm going with Newton by a few. This is going to be an exciting game with a lot of players that are fun to watch. The caliber of ahtletes that both of these schools usually produce are unbelievable.
  5. Have you seen the Northwest Stadium? Its only about 15 mins. from Denton? Is Cy-Fair the team with the awesome running back that jumps over people's heads? I think you can go to Youtube and see some clips. Its either Cy-Fair or Cy-Falls.
  6. A big running back hasn't hasn't been so much of a threat against WH. Kountze's 99 is a big, powerful runner, and he wasn't a big impact last week. If Huntington can't air it out, then I look for WH to do pretty well. I think this one goes to who wants it more. Huntington is in a pretty tough district, and though it seems like they have some pretty good players, they just don't win very many. That being said, I'm going to take my Oilers in a close one. They've scored 2 td's in every game this year, the same total as the Huntington game last year. Why change that up? WH - 15 Huntington - 13.
  7. I'm a catch and release kind of guy, but lately all I can come away with are 2-3 ft. sharks. They're fun, but they don't fight like a big red. Keep in mind I'm stuck on the banks and piers with no access to a boat. Any help on where to fish will be useful. Thanks!
  8. Any thoughts? Anyone know anything about Huntington other than Warren beat them?
  9. Did anyone see the Ref lying on the field after getting KO'd by a water bottle late in the 4th? He lay there motionless for about a minute. I thought he just killed over.
  10. Personally I have to go with Justin Northwest. It was a 4A (may be 5A now) high school north of Fort Worth about 20 minutes. It is in a newly established, upper class community. It has a 3 level press box, concrete bleachers, and all of the buildings are accented with brick. The restrooms have marble on the counter tops and there are lcd televisions above the concession stands showing the game, which are build into the backside of the bleachers. The scoreboard is awesome and the field is down in a bowl which is nice for players in a very windy part of Texas. Locally, Silsbee has a really nice facility, especially for a 3A school.
  11. This are supposed to be positively expressed opinions, ya'll. If you feel someone's stadium is sub-par, and care to exaggerate, this is not the thread for you.
  12. Ha ha. They got voted one of the nicest fields in the state about 8-10 years ago. Some of our school bad seeds spelled out HD sucks on the field with fertilizer. It killed the grass, then grew back greener than the rest of the field. This was a retaliation for them doing do-nuts on ours before our homecoming.
  13. If anyone picks the other team over Dayton or WO-S, all their fans act like you should be riding the short bus to the game. :-\ My prediction: I'm not making one. I don't like the short bus. :'(
  14. Don't know anything about Price Carlisle. Anywho, Go Rebs!!
  15. Okay. Nobody's gonna win this argument. The two don't play. Its great to have school pride WO-S. Ya'll sure have a lot of it and confidence to boot. Good luck this year!
  16. Prayers from West Hardin, and hopes to a speedy recovery. Thank God he's okay!!
  17. Good prediction!! 15-8. (yours was 14-7) But noone could have predicted the end to that game til' it was over. Great game guys!!
  18. Good job Warriors!! Way to stay close!! I thought this would be lopsided because Colmesneil kind of handled Legacy in the scrimmage and Evadale beat Colmesneil 42-7. I was way wrong!! God job guys!!
  19. I don't see Anahuac being able to do much in this one. I'm taking Buna in a 42-14 lopsided battle.
  20. Whoa!! I thought it would be closer than that!! Man, Buna is rolling!
