I think you're right. This one will be tough for the Rebs. Carlisle is 3-0. I'm for the Rebels all the way, but my prediction is Price Carlisle by 21.
-
o i thought you said hardins qb was 6 5 210
Not Hardin's. Groveton's.
Nolan isn't a particularly big guy, but he's accurate and poise. He can hurt you with his feet, but more than likely he'll throw a strike and get blasted, then get up and do it again. He looks alert and confident, but he'll take a lick. I was very impressed with this kid.

That's all I want. The fight is enough for me. I really enjoy wrestling those big fish, and them releasing them for others to enjoy. Thanks!

WH beat every 3-A team they played last year, except for WO-S. But I'm not gettng into this argument with classifications again.
Good Luck Big Sandy!!
-
They had there big guy when I saw them and I saw Copeland play several times this summer. The big kid they have coming back is no match for BS post or Spurger's.Tyler will do a great job but I still say he has very little help.If they play 500 ball this year that will be a very successful season.
Its Hashaw. He's playing TE right now and filling out pretty well. Over the summer he's been lifting and can take a drop step and throw it down now. Hashaw and Copeland, along with their other posts. Yes, they lost Letsinger and Simmons, but they also lost Coach Fuller :'(. WH will probably come in 4th, but I think they'll take a game from either Spurger or HD.
-
Crud. He went to Belton. Nevermind.
-
Coach McCarter from WOS is now at 5A Katy Taylor.
He went from West Brook to West Hardin to West Orange Stark. I played for him at WH. He was a class act, and has his stuff together. He puts emphasis on focus and discipline.
-
anyone no who will be wh head basketball coach.
I didn't know they lost their coach. I do know Copeland and Hashaw have grown quite a bit. WH should be able to still give people fits in 24A.
-
Letsinger is gone. Simmons is gone. BUT........
Copeland has grown. Hashaw has grown. WH won't have a losing record, either.

I know everyone will be gunning for WO-S. They are the reigning champs and the favorites this year. I also believe they better come to play every Friday and take the majority of these teams serious, or they won't be in the driver's seat long.
-
This was an impressive win for the Raiders. Last year, they squeaked by a lot of their pre-season teams. This year, they have rolled up 40 pts. and then coasted in every contest. They are blowing people out that they should be. The majority of the posters are saying Dayton could do it with their eyes closed, but I'm sure the coaching staff from Dayton is not looking past this one.
-
If that 74 yard punt was in the air, it was impressive. (I know the kid can kick and punt regardless.) But I saw a vid of a junior high game where a kid punted the ball with the wind about 30 yards in the air. The wind was so strong, it bounced about 3 good times and went close to 80 yds. Sure, it was a fluke, but I thought it was neat. Let me see if I can get the URL and I'll post it.

I didn't think YOU would agree. ;D

1 WOS
2 Silsbee or K-ville
3 Silsbee or K-ville
4 Jasper (could eat my words on this one)
5 Hamshire Fannett
6 Orangefield
7 HJ or BC
8 HJ or BC
-
I've got K-ville by 10 in this one. It depends on who shows up, though. If its the Jasper team that went to BH, then it will be a different story. If its the one that played Newton, K-ville should win it.
-
This years' K-ville team is much improved, but definately after this Friday we will have 2 reasonable comparisons. K-ville will have played Carthage and Jasper. Newton will have played them both, also. This will not be set in stone on who is the better team, but usually, neither is a close game between the two. This will, however, add a little legitimacy to ya'lls arguments.
-
Its Sunday and there are already 4 pages of smack talk. WOW!! I hope this is a great game. A lot of crow will be eaten after this one. :-X
-
Yep, he's good. That's an impressive vid.
-
Cleburne's is not nearly as nice, but I like the old stone on the bleachers with the ivy growing all over the back side of them.
-
Have u seen my paycheck? Unless bet against great odds, you wouldn't win much. :'(
-
Kirbyville 27 Cleveland 0
Dibol 55 Cleveland 6
This would be my comparison. Once again, I'm pulling for the Panthers, I just see Dibol being too much.
Huntington @ West Hardin

I've heard Copeland probably won't play. I'm not sure who the backup QB is. I think its Miller. I know Miller is a good player, but he doesn't have much Varsity QB experience. Playing your first game as a varsity QB on homecoming night has to be a little scary. Hope he doesn't get "big-eyed".
Anyone have any info. on whether Tyler is healthy or not?
