You're doing it all wrong CB. You have to steal those things (which you would then sell for your meth habit). People think it's just junk in those yards. It's actually inventory.
-
That comments makes zero sense. Do you know how many "non-homers" applied for that job? Same goes for Reyes, who was not from around here either. A complete unknown.
-
Aggie, you know this as well as anybody. Some people like to kick up dust, even though their comments make them seem clueless. I've been a player, coach, parent & fan in Lumberton for over 40 years. Although it may have happened, I can't seem to remember coaches being run off en masse by parents. Plus I know everyone is pulling for Chase (an alumni and a good kid to boot). I don't expect a stellar year because of all the seniors graduating last year, but I don't think anyone will be expecting him to pack his bags asap (this ain't WOS, lol).
-
Who did the parents previously run off?
-
I figure it’s because if you’ve ever driven through Vidor, you might think “Who would even notice”. 😬
-
True. I can’t blame him for that though. That wasn’t my specific issue.
-
That was not the case with Reyes issues. The backing of the coach was mixed. This was a stepping stone, and it was apparent. I'll leave it at that.
-
My charade? Now that’s laughable!
-
Did I say the oil companies were pulling for Harris? And on the supply side, that's just now happening (election year). That was already happening with DJT before Biden's illustrious barrage of executive orders.
-
I'll turn the tables on you then. Enumerate for me how Biden's policies in 3-1/2 years were better than Trump on the issues of 'Undocumented" people coming across the border, average gas prices and trade.
-
Yeah. And it only took til the last bit of an election year to get there.
-
1. Energy (Data from March 23): To date, the average gasoline price during President Biden’s term — with nearly two years still to go — is $3.60/gallon. That is on a pace to be the highest average under any president. Here is how prices stack up per gallon, from lowest to highest average for their terms: Joe Biden (partial term) — $3.60 Barack Obama first term — $3.12 Barack Obama second term — $2.95 George W. Bush second term — $2.77 Donald Trump — $2.57 George W. Bush first term — $1.59 2. Immigration: I mean, do you really need a chart on this one? It's kind of embarrassing for Biden/Harris For context a June 2024 CNN poll: "But on the subject of immigration, voters were asked if they think Biden or Trump would better handle the issue if president. Just 28% of voters prefer Biden, while a significantly higher 50% prefer Trump." 3. Trade (Sorry, this is the best I could do with the space I have. Kind of a large topic): The YouGov poll found 42 percent of Americans somewhat approve of Trump’s approach to foreign trade, 11 percent higher than Biden’s 31 percent. At the same time, 28 percent strongly or somewhat disapprove of Trump’s trade policies, while 36 percent said the same about Biden’s policies, per the survey.

Is he going to lose? He just might. Damn good chance of it. But as far as policy goes (Energy, Immigration, Trade, etc.), I think he has not only talked about it, but also acted on it with excellent results.
-
You are correct, sir.

I have no huge issues with Trump, the candidate. I have huge issues with Kamala, the candidate. Take all the personal stuff away from both of them. Take race & gender away from the equation. Take away age. Focus on their policy vision. That's who gets my vote. And it's not Kamala.
-
I agree with you to a point. Although, as talented as though teams were, it took a coach to scheme towards those talents. To be honest, I didn't care for Reyes. I never really said that while he was coaching, because I didn't feel it was beneficial.
-
I knew those to be true, and that's why I assumed that the charge was capital murder. Like I said, "First degree capital murder" probably just sounded way more catchy to the reporter.
-
It has taken me forever to realize this, but not everyone sees things the way I do. Can you believe it? And unfortunately, at least half the country is ok with the left side of things being the way forward. Look, by and large, people are uninformed (dare I say stupid, even). Kamala had a less favorable rating than Biden before the coup. Now, she's gotten higher numbers than Biden. Why? What changed? The uninformed sheep is what changed. The tide changed. The day of the week changed. How can people living through this economy support Kamala? Because it's cool and hip to vote for her. I could honestly write a 1,000 word essay on why their is a good chance that Kamala wins this November. I just don't have it in me.
-
Just some reporter trying to sensationalize with lots of buzzwords. I would guess with a fetus and the mother being murdered, it could be a capital offense?
-
Because this is kid's football, and that's what guys do beginning with 5 & 6 year old flag. It never ends.
-
Exactly. A lot of times, you don’t even know your number ones are yet.
-
Don’t throw us in there. Of course we backed it up the last 2 years in a row. 😉
-
They definitely could. I can’t remember the last time they won the district.
