He had a ride to Florida State as a tight end I believe and was tragically killed the summer before he left. Any way his nephew was a really nice player for BH last year.
Herndon played at REL and UH. I believe you are talking about Rocky Bernard.

BH does control it own destiny. They have a one game lead on Dayton and Kingwood Park for 3rd place with two games to play. They split the series with both schools. BH is @ Porter on Friday and has Crosby at home on Tuesday. I think that if they win one of the two, they clinch a playoff spot. Dayton is @ Lee on Friday and home for Porter on Tuesday. Kingwood Park has Humble at home on Friday and at New Caney on Tuesday. They haven't made the playoffs since Toon was the coach.

Just received word from GCCISD, they will be closed until 9/5. All athletic events cancelled for this week.
