He was at Shepherd then was hired at Rusk, which he resigned about a month after being hired. He then joined the staff in Frankston and was promoted to HC in 2017 but left less than 2 weeks after the promotion.

2019 FOOTBALL TEAM PREVIEWS PAETOW PANTHERS 2018 Record: 3-7 Overall, 1-6 District 7th Place in 10-5A-II Things are usually rough for a franchise in their first year and for Katy ISD's newest football program, the Paetow Panthers, things were no different. The young bucks of last year returns as veterans in 2019 as all eleven starters on both sides of the ball return for Head Coach B.J. Gotte in an effort to climb the ladder of District 10-5A-II. Head Coaches: B.J. Gotte Offense: All eleven starters return to the Paetow offense in 2019. Running back Major Payne will key the Paetow offense. Senior wide receiver Johnathon Baker and senior Alex Elko will also play key roles. Offensive lineman Cameron Gross will lead things up front. Defense: All eleven starters return to the Paetow defense in 2019. Junior lineman Andrew Rutherford will lead the defensive line. Senior D.J. Mourning will lead the Panther linebackers. The Paetow secondary will be a strength as senior free safety Carl Simon will anchor and junior Dane Presto and sophomore Michael Jordan will join him. 2019 FOOTBALL TEAM PREVIEWS LEGACY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY WARRIORS 2018 Record: 6-5 Overall, 4-0 District TAPPS District 4-IV Champion The Legacy Warriors had quite a season in 2018, capturing the District 4-IV title. Head coach Troy Esprit returns seven starters on offense and five starting defenders return in defense of that district championship. Head Coach: Troy Esprit Assistant Coaches: Clint Smith, Joshua Adair, Justin Horsley, Robert Green Offense: Seven starters return to the Legacy Pistol Pro offense in 2019. The reins of the offense will be handled by junior quarterback Darriyon Wilson. Joining him in the backfield will be senior running back Korien Burrell (1st team all-district) and senior fullback Chance Scott. Outside will be freshman wide receiver Carter Holmes. A veteran line comes back as junior linemen Alex Potter (1st team all-district) and Jackson Novak will be joined by sophomores J.B. Brown, Bryce Munoz (2nd team all-district) and Carson Rains. Freshman lineman Josh Chisholm will also see time on the line. Defense: Five starters return to the Legacy 4-2-5 defense in 2019. Novak (1st team all-district), sophomore Alex Tu, and freshman Kenny Doung will be featured on the defensive line. Senior Dalton Williford (2nd team all-district) and junior Aidan Nierieter (1st team all-district) will man the linebacker spots. Scott (1st team all-district) will anchor the secondary at safety and be joined by freshman cornerback Carter Holmes. Special Teams: Junior Grant Davis (1st team all district as kicker) will handle the place kicking and punting duties. Burrell will handle the kick return duties.
