  1. That's exactly the point I was trying to make. WO-S' open week is Week 8. The teams that are available for a game that week who don't have a full 10 game schedule are Franklin (not bad), Evadale and Burkeville. And the developer of physical speed does not possess enough to avoid the heck we'd catch if Coach T were to schedule Evadale or Burkeville.
  2. I read that as well. I do know they are going on with athletic events at OF as the volleyball game will take place tonight according to Coach Smalley. Another indicator that the game will be played is that Gary Stelly texted me yesterday and KOGT will plans on carrying this game.
  3. H-F wins district make up 3-1 (25-19, 25-22, 23-25, 25-8)
  4. Hadn't heard anything but I wouldn't be surprised if they are having one.
  5. It is long held UIL policy that if weather causes a team not to be able to answer the bell for district yet they intend to enter district play, that the district must come up with a solution that gives all members of the district an equal chance to compete. They have heavily enforced that it in the past. An example is after Rita when Baytown Sterling and some other schools tried to leave West Brook and Memorial behind when they were late starting district.
  6. If Vidor can't go on Friday, that will bring the entirety of 12-5A-II to a halt.
  7. I noticed that as well. I mean I expected them to take a drop but all the way out of the top 10 was a bit much.
  8. Thanks to Alpha Wolf for the Lady Wolves' schedule.
  9. Diboll is currently in a district with Coldspring-Oakhurst a team that has been part of the SETXsports coverage area since its inception. I know of no such current relationship with Lufkin. Although if this would have happened in 2016-17 when Lufkin and West Brook were in the same district, he would have listed it.
  10. Congratulations on the nomination and good luck, Coach Hooker!
  11. Thanks to Hull-Daisetta Coach Trent Wallace for the Bobcats schedule.
  12. Thanks to Bridge City Coach Lance Robertson for the Lady Cardinals schedule.
  13. And with that, it is probably time to put this thread to bed.

  17. It has been done a couple of times. Rita about 14 years ago and then with Harvey 2 years ago.
  18. Cool. I wonder about Vidor though. They may have to start district late and have the district seek a waiver of the 5 day rule.
