Actually, that has been the issue all along. According to Coach Babin yesterday, Concordia was trying to figure out a route due to Imela-related road closures. The mishap at the San Jacinto overpass only complicated things.

Deweyville/Evadale has been cancelled.

This morning, multiple barges became unmoored and struck the I-10 overpass, damaging two pillars. I-10 at the San Jacinto River (both directions) is closed........INDEFINITELY!!!! It won't affect too many games this week because of scheduled open dates and Tropical Storm Imelda. However, folks from West Brook, United and Port Arthur Memorial will want to consider this when traveling to district away games and folks who travel to the Houston area for the playoffs might want to also keep this in mind.

Fort Bend Chargers/Community Christian has been postponed either to Saturday or October 4th. The fate of the following will be decided tomorrow morning: Concordia Lutheran/Lumberton Deweyville/Evadale West Hardin/Rosehill Christian

If they can get there.

High Island/McDade cancelled.
