Class 4A State Semifinal from the Frank Erwin Center on the campus of the University of Texas in Austin at 7:00 p.m.. The winner of this game will face the Victoria East/Rockwall winner Saturday at 3:30 p.m. for the Class 4A State Championship. GOOD LUCK LADY EAGLES!!!

Well, I can sympathize.  The fact is the Chronicle has two folks, Jenny Dial and Angel Verdejo, who are tasked with covering every sport for nearly every high school between the Trinity and the Brazos.  Mistakes will happen in that situation.
