My son is currently a freshman playing varsity but won't be 15 until June 4.  Due to age - I assume he is ineligible this year?

Vidor v. Ozen @ 7 p.m. tonight (3/22 Thurs) @ Ozen

Just curious if anyone is rescheduling Tues. 3/20 games to Mon. 3/19 due to expected 90% of rain for Tues. and Wed.  Has anyone heard of any rescheduling?

So far - Vidor's game scheduled for tonight @ 7 @ NHS moved to Wed night @ 7 @ NHS. Also - Vidor's game scheduled for Fri 3/16 @ 7 @ VHS v. Lumberton moved to Fri 3/16 @ VHS @ 1 p.m. 

Do you know - is it rained out for now, for the day or for rest of tournament?????  Took the day off and am on standby....................

He is 14 - won't be 15 til this June.  So he won't be eligible to play that league this summer?

My son is a freshman in HS so this summer will be our first season to play in the Babe Ruth League.  I have heard that he will be eligible to play with 16 / 17 YO since he is playing varsity this year .  Is that correct?  When will registratration take place for this age group?  Also - does anyone know typically when this schedule starts and ends?  (Trying to schedule him in a baseball camp in July and want to make sure we don't have any conflicts).  Thanks!

John (Boy) Smith, Junior Class, of Vidor got another homerun last night at home against WOS.

We played this game Monday night 3/5 due to TAKS testing.  Final score, Vidor 9 - WOS 2. 

Does anyone know if there is currently rain on the tournament and / or if they have had any rain delay(s) today?

Thanks Titan!  Was dying to hear while sitting here at work.  I think they play later this evening around 8.  If anyone has a chance to update that game it would be greatly appreciated.  Hopefully their bats will be going in the next one!

I saw the itinerary briefly last night when my son was packing his things for overnight.  I know today they play Fairfield around 1 p.m. and tonight 7 - 8 they play Central.  Tomorrow they play again around 1 and 4 (not sure of teams for tomorrow). 

Ok, I shipped one off this morning to play for Vidor in the Lufkin tourmanet.  If anyone is able to send updates on this thread of Vidor's games, it would be geatly appreciated...  It doesn't have to be play by play, just updates as you can.  GO PIRATES!
