  1. Reportedly Week 5 and 6 are still to be determined.
  2. Well, we need to take a step back as to when it comes to why WO-S is having difficulty finding opponents for Weeks 5 and 6. At that point, it becomes more about availability rather than desire. For example, ALL of the SETX districts from 6A to 4A-DI either start or will already have started district play in Week 5 and they will likely have already completed their pre-district schedules. With the exception of 8-4A-II,11-4A-II and 12-4A-II (WO-S' district), all area districts will begin district play no later than Week 6. As to Navasota, I too would LOVE to see that game. And I know that Navasota has never run away from a good predistrict fight. But again the problem is the Rattlers' availability as they are in 10-4A-I, one of those districts that begin district play in Week 5. Perhaps Rattler99 can shed some light on the current state of their schedule (come on in....YOUR PART OF THE FAMILY NOW!!!).
  3. And they finally got some, take a look at #25 in this week's 5A rankings!
  4. Outstanding news on both fronts!
  5. The Silsbee Tigers continue 24-4A tonight as they host the Bridge City Cardinals! The Tigers, 21-5 on the season, ran their district mark to 8-0 on Friday with a 109-48 win over Hamshire-Fannett. The Cardinals, 14-11 on the season, were also victorious on Friday, defeating Little Cypress-Mauriceville 43-42 to run their district record to 4-3. Silsbee took the first contest between these two, 85-42 back on January 8th. 6. Glad to see Coach Sutherland is making some headway.
  7. That's funny, BG is currently a staff member with full privileges. Any absence on his part is self-imposed. But as I always do, I will call it like I see it. I found that in life accuracy and tact are usually mutually exclusive ideals...and I choose accuracy.
  8. I think AAW put the number of new schools at 24. 95 public, 20 private...115 total schools going into the year. I think I am in line for a 50% raise and I will probably get it. The problem is the 50% is of a current salary of $0. LOL!
  9. That would be pretty nice.
  10. AAW was at the game and will have some stats from the game later tonight.
  11. Final from the Bear Cave: Dallardsville Big Sandy 81, Little Cypress-Mauriceville 36
  12. 71-29 Big Sandy with 5:27 left in the game
  13. Big Sandy leads 61-20 with 3:23 left in the 3rd
  14. A few stats from the 1st half: Big Sandy was 12 of 21 from 3. LC-M had 13 turnovers Bullock 19 pts, V. Williams 12 pts for Big Sandy Brown lead the Bears with 9 pt in the 1st half
  15. At the half, Big Sandy 46, Little Cypress-Mauriceville 17
  16. 32-13 Big Sandy early in the 2nd. Sounds like Bullock is launching 3's from West Orange.
  17. Bullock has 4 3's so far in the game. So does Vinson.
  18. After 1, Big Sandy 23, LC-M 10 Big Sandy hits 7 treys in the 1st quarter
  19. With 3:46 left in the 1st, Big Sandy leads 12-1
  20. Jasper would make sense for a number of reasons.
  21. Robert Howell is on the call tonight. Tip off is about to happen.
