Lumberton AD Chris Babin has confirmed that Lumberton has hired Tara Gay as their new head volleyball coach. She was the HC at Orangefield last season. According to Babin, "Tara is a Lumberton resident and is fired up to be leading the Lady Raider VB team."

No offense intended to Memorial Stadium as I have been there several times and it is a fine stadium to host events like these, but it seems that Butch would make more sense being right off of the interstate. On the other matter, Coach Nelson has also confirmed to me that the Central/Baytown Lee game will be on Saturday, November 11th at 2 pm at the Butch.

I don't know that there will be that big of an adjustment. Prouse is an Orangefield graduate who spent a number of years in Orangefield before moving on to Jasper. They have similar offenses to what Dale ran at Deweyville.
