Crosby wasn’t able to win 2 straight against LH, but I think PNG will get it done.  I’ve been to this Round 5 game three straight years now.  

Don’t fall for the “y’all don’t need DB’s”. As soon as you do, they will throw it.  They don’t throw much, but it’s usually a big play when they do.

Yea, no doubt.  Mismatch on both sides of the ball.  I smell some Friday night pancakes.  
 

Last year, this matchup was very intriguing and it seemed like such a huge game   This year, not so much.

So, I wonder if the total attendance was 10K.  It seemed to be at least 3 to 1 PNG fans.  Maybe it was more. Not sure. 

Curious to know what the official attendance was yesterday.  I didn’t think PNG had 10-12K.  

LH had to replace most of their defense this year.  It’s hard to simulate going up against that large PNG line.  It took some time for Huntsville to adjust to it.  I see PNG having lots of success on offense and getting the lead.  The Slot-T will be forced to play catch-up and they won’t be able to keep up.  Win the flip and go score first. Sorry LH. This ain’t Region 4. 

Pretty sure that wasn’t the regular center for Huntsville.  Never seen so many illegal snaps in my life.  I know one time they didn’t call it on a long run.  

The stats ended up being pretty close.  PNG slightly ahead on yards.  First downs were even at 17 from what I remember.  

Well it was a good game.  Huntsville needed to have the 1st half look like the 2nd half.   PNG getting that lead was big.  Good season Huntsville.  

The Huntsville center literally has had 6 false starts.  Never seen that before

PNG mixing it up well.  Hornet defense getting burned on the pass plays.  

Not sure if Huntsville has enough offense to win this.  They may need to pitch a shutout in the 2nd half. 

PNG O-Line is going to wear out the Hornet defense. 

Yea that’s crazy to have a 50 point turnaround.  Maybe Ganado was playing possum in the 1st matchup.  But it was for 1st place, so I don’t know.

All 3 of the Thursday night 2A games are not close at this point. 

Good analysis Ipsa.  I think Huntsville is definitely looking for the Iowa Hawkeye type game with the over/under in the 20’s, similar to their 14-13 Randle game.  They need to limit the mistakes, get some 1st downs, run some clock, and make this a defensive game.  If PNG jumps out 14-0, it will be trouble.  A shootout clearly favors PNG.  The Hornets did have that 39-36 game with Brenham, but that’s not the kind of game they want to play here.  

Really excited for this game.  The last NRG game I saw was Huntsville-Manvel in 2018.  Not sure the Hornets can stay with PNG though. The defense has been playing really well but that PNG O-Line will be a challenge.  Hornets will probably need some turnovers to have a chance.  Also, can’t let PNG get a 2 score lead.  If they can keep it a low scoring slugfest, then they may have a chance to steal one.  Huntsville has played a very challenging schedule.  The last 6 games have been tough opponents and 3 of the non district games were too.  So I think they are prepared and can hopefully stay in this one.  Regardless, it has been a successful season getting to Round 4 for the Hornets.
