PNG is the obvious favorite this year. 

Nederland could be without QB Balysin Fernandez after he dislocated his hip against Lumberton.

The biggest thing Nederland has on its side is the fact the Bulldogs have basically been playing playoff games for a month. They were constantly in must win games and dealing with injuries and other matters. 

PNG like I said should win this game but the Bulldogs are led by three guys named Larry, Delbert and Monte. Nothing those three pulls off ever surprises me. 

With much love to Vidor, and I am good buddies with Mathews, the Titans will win this game by at least two touchdowns.

Ned wins and the Bulldogs are in.

If PNG wins, the Bulldogs need Livingston to lose to Ozen.

If Nederland loses next week it will need Livingston to lose to Ozen

So Liv will be 3-4, Ned 4-3 and Central 3-4 with one game left if all scores stand.

Oh don't get me wrong Ricky was maybe the greatest leader in PNG history and was an outstanding QB. 

Are QBs better these days? You have to say yes. They are asked to do much more and to know much more. Defenses are more complex and faster as well. It is not a stab at any old farts (jk) but as years have gone by the game has changed and at some positions have had to get better to keep up. Now kickers, they are still kickers. 

IMO, Long and Morse are 1A and 1B.

One player doesn't win championships and that isn't saying PNG was a bad team at all with Morse there. Look at the team they ran into in the second round, Angleton went four rounds deep so its not like they lost to a chump. It was 28-3 before the Indians had taken a breath basically.

Take away titles, records and stats and I believe the top 2 are Long and Morse.

i'm a few weeks ahead of you on the Kary Vincent Jr. story. Now was I at a morning pep rally the same night I have to be at work until 2 a.m.? No I was not. Why not? First, because I didn't even know it was going on because nobody told me. IC might have been there. I have not seen him yet today.
