Boys PNG - solid with a leader in the net, speed in key positions Vidor - very competive team that plays every minute on the field with plenty of speed Central - talented enough to make the playoffs, some players need discipline to stay away from the red cards Nederland - rebuilding year, Gomez steps up to head coach- he has been involved in the system for years but now gets to experience pressure as a head coach. So far their defense has not been able to match up well with the 3 teams above. Graduated one of the best defensive plays last year and it is showing.

Where is this game being played at ?

For this game I sat on the PNG side with a friend of mine who's grandson was playing.  I can't tell you how many times I heard "their ( Nederland ) mid defense and back line are so solid and fast". When you watch your team from the other side you begin to realize just how good some of the players are.

I missed the first half of the game but got there to see Ozen go up 3-1 Nederland played pressure offense and defense to force the game in to OT IMO Nederland is a better team due to some player position changes that is starting to shown in their scoring. BTW I wasnt surprised to see my defensive player pick playing in OT.

No sir, just an old Nederland resident who enjoys watching soccer. I have been watching soccer for the last seven to eight years.

when did the players quite, was it recently ?

I bet there will be a lot of excuses written tomorrow.  I dare say it "if it was a football there would be early dismissal". When is the last time that the basketball team has advanced this far? NISD needs to recognize this ! I think mine have dentist appointments Friday after lunch. See you at the game - GO DOGS

Clark #9 coming off the bench for Nederland. He is not a starter but he changes the tempo of the defense when he enters the game.

Has anyone heard if NISD will have an early dismissal Friday? With a 6:00 tip it is going to be impossible to leave Nederland at 3:30 and make it to the west side of Houston at that time of the day.  We need to continue to show our support for the DOGS. 

Nederland 3 LCM 1 A couple of the LCM players showed very poor class tonight by shooting the finger to the NHS crowd while the other one grabed himself while facing the crowd. I know that these two players do not reflect the spirit and efforts of a very good LCM team and I am sure that their Coach will address it.

Played the Belle a couple of weeks ago, it is improving but not as good as it was when it was the PACC but it is still a challenging layout. Club house needs to be torn down and rebuilt, it's ashame the condition that it's in.
