i never  have used the word hate in all my years of posting i might be out of bounds on this but when you use the word hate any team no matter who it might be   your talking about the kids who are trying there best to  make you proud of there program I LOVE ALL THE KIDS  who are  busting there  butts for us

These kind of comments about "one and done" for a fellow district team bother me. I dislike the Kirbyville smack talk just like everyone else, but the smart thing to do is to be supportive of every district team once the playoffs roll around because if we all do well in the playoffs it makes the entire district look better. The reason our area gets very little respect for football statewide is because our teams commonly go "one and done". So even as much as Kirbyville makes me angry, I hope they go really far in the playoffs. I certaintly don't hope they lose out in the first round

I just wasted a few minutes of my time that I'll never get back. I have read the last 8-9 posts on this thread and am completely lost as to what the motive, subject or discussion is even about? When this thread has validity and appropriate commentary, somebody please private message me.

wildcatbacker...I know you take alot of pride in your team. Their was a fellow on here before from Kirbyville "pride 1980" Everybody thought he was over the top, but now he is given top honors for being the truest of fans...He made some wild comments, but everyone knew where is heart was. I think your heart is in the right spot but, sometimes you have to take the hype with a grain of salt and take caution in what you get behind. A statement like that only shows how shallow a persons knowledge is about the game. You should have said "hey guys here is a funny and outreagous statement...I love our boys and we have a very good team, but this is over the top" then we would have all had a big laugh. Your problem you embraced the comment and tried like heck to defend your support...IMO Kirbyville can stop at "The Butch" on the way to Lamar...save some gas and play a pick-up game with West Brook and get all you want and thats even silly! Kirbyville will go far, so take pride in your success not over the top comments.

Buna has 6-8 backs that share the load in the backfield.  None of them will have enormous stats because they all start on defense!

I think OF takes 3rd in that district this year so, based on the Buna-OF game, I will say Buna 27-HF 21.

Buna has been the underdog in the 2 games they've played this season. I believe they were -7 versus bye last week. With that said, the Cougars go to 3-0 and others begin to take note that this team is for real. 1 game at a time.

Buna always works hard and will compete as I said before Buna never looses they just run out of time!
