Houston is 6-4 in their last 10 games. In those last 10 games, Astro pitching has a 2.59 ERA. Pitching has definitely improved over the last couple of weeks.

Houston wins 3-0. Astro pitching with a 3 hit shutout.

I say it was over 2k. Bet there was some "unaccounted for" in attendance tonight.

Final Lamar wins 2-1. Lamar wins series 2-0. SLC Tourney Champions!!! Daughter and I headed to Twin Peaks to celebrate!!

End 8 2-1 Lamar

End 7 2-1 Lamar

End 6 2-1 Lamar

End 5 1-1

End 4 1-0 Lamar

End 3 1-0 Lamar

End 2 1-0 Lamar

Actually, they only won 2 on the court. Those last two were due to Dallas Madison having to forfeit those titles.

Looks like it will be just my daughter and me tonight. It's her ex's weekend to have the boys and he said no to us taking them to game. Neither of us were too happy about it.

Greg Wise will be missed. He is synonymous with Houston area basketball. Jack Yates basketball just won't be the same without him. Congrats Coach on your career.

Tonight, 6pm.

Final 9-3 Lamar. Lamar leads series 1-0. That's 5 post season wins. 5 more than someone expected.

End 7 9-3 Lamar

End 6 9-1 Lamar

End 5 9-1 Lamar

End 4 4-1, Lamar

Ok. Hopeful.

Maybe.

I'm voting for Pedro.

Astros pitching is improving. In the first 30 games of season, Houston had a 6.2 team ERA. Last 20 games the ERA has been 4.2. Two run difference in ERA. That's a good trend. Now offensively, Houston was averaging a little over 5 runs a game in the first 30 games. In the last 20, run production has been 3.4 per game.

Kinda wish this series was at McNeese. Give me a reason to stay at Nugget for a few nights.
