Correct

I also tithe. So what you are saying is it's okay to reap benefits just don't celebrate it. Gotcha BTW, not one of those charities or the church asked how I was able to give the money. Helping to spread good will with my investment monies. That's all.

I was answering your questions that you directed to me. Not concerned if you believe them or not. I am happy that I can contribute to those charities.

Not all but about 80%. 20% finances my poker. Not really concerned what you believe. The govt. believes me. At least the IRS does.

Wounded Warrior Project Veterans From War American Cancer Society Shriners Hospital Christian Care Center

The money made that is deposited I give to charity.

I give my profits to charity.

5-4 win for Houston. Astros have now won 5 straight and 10 of last 11. Have 1 1/2 game division lead. Go for the sweep tomorrow.

YES!!!!!! My bank account appreciates Exxon so much.

We don't need Springer. Need another arm or two. Astros are third in the AL in runs scored but are 12th in runs allowed. Pitching is what is needed.

Pretty sure Dre'lon Miller of Silsbee, who was a 4-5 star out of high school, who just transferred to Baylor from Colorado, is not making $300-500 K at Baylor this season. Could be wrong. I can ask his father to be certain. Talk to him pretty regular.

Houston Strake Jesuit turned in 2974 enrollment for this past realignment. DCTF has them at 2974 and finishing 4th in 21-6A. UIL uses total enrollment of 9-12, not just the male pop. But, SJ had to agree to play 6A in order to participate in UIL. It's just now they have 6A numbers.

Correct but SA being 2 hours north can make all the difference. All is needed is a point or two from practicing to not practicing.

I think it also depends on your location. WBGT can be different in Orange Texas than in San Augustine Texas.

Also, this win secures the Silver Boot for the Astros. That makes 10 consecutive years Houston has won the Silver Boot. A friend of mine asked, "Is this even a rivalry anymore?"

This is also the first time since April 6 (6-5) that Houston has been over .500 (56-55) on the season.

Houston with an 11-2 win over Arlington. Astros are now in first place for the first time since April 3rd when they were 5-2. Houston has won 9 of last 10 and are 12 games above .500 (36-24, .600) since May 20.

This

I just want to get 2 of 3. But a sweep would be nice. Pitching matchups for the 3 game series: Eovaldi vs. Brown DeGrom vs. Blanco Rocker vs. ????

I never said I didn't like it. Was just saying folks weren't commenting with their own thoughts and words. You posting the video still technically didn't show if you agreed or disagreed with my Marine friends post.

Good point.

Exactly.

Right. I was hoping to read other members thoughts on the post and not videos or memes.

Being the head coach of two sports back to back is not good. One of the sports will get the short end of the stick for sure. But this late in the game they most likely had no choice.

7-4 win and a series sweep of the Angels. Houston is .500 (55-55) for the first time since April 7 when they were 6-6. Astros are 35-24 since May 20.
