  2. IMO, that national ranking is not a good representation but I also don't think there is 16 6A teams better than United. I believe they are a top 10 team. I was surprised they lost to Washington.
  3. Monday results: Houston Memorial 58 Humble 31 New Caney 41 Crosby 68 Spring Westfield 58 CE King 53
  4. Head coach Blane Morgan has been relieved of his duties. Lamar was 5-23 under Morgan.
  5. Your continued diatribe about first year coaches is beginning to wear a bit. I believe you have expressed your point and it's a valid one. We get it.
  6. HF is very capable of beating Cuero meaning Cuero doesn't have to play bad for the Longhorns to win. With that said, I am leaning towards a Cuero win.
  7. If I'm not mistaken, I think he is saying Bellville used up Madisonville and they won't have anything left in the tank for Silsbee. I could be wrong in that assumption.

  9. Wrong. The game of the week in 4A DI is #4 Anna vs. #5 Celina. And next week you could have #2 Calallen vs. #3 Boerne and #1 China Spring vs. either #4 Anna or #5 Celina.

  16. I am a bit surprised that United lost to Washington. This is the same Washington team that Silsbee took down in regional finals last year. I felt Washington was a very good team but lacked toughness and big game confidence. Silsbee was smaller but much tougher mentally and physically. I had United winning this at home by 10+. Early season games are tough to call sometimes and IMO don't carry much weight. Never know what team you are going to get.
  17. Never mind, I got it. Silsbee 54 PA Memorial 69
  18. Hamshire-Fannett vs. Cuero Friday, Nov. 25 6pm Legacy Stadium, Katy
  19. Don't think Buddy is necessarily talking about Longview folks.
