Silsbee will play next Friday at either 1:30 or 3pm. Opponent and time will be announced tomorrow. 4A state championship game is Saturday, 7pm.

But, but, but.... according to a person on this site that has such a vast knowledge of the game states there is no way this can happen at the state championship game.

The biggest question is will Brownsboro get fatigued, tired legs, wore down in 2nd half?

I've been going to the state basketball tournament since 1972. 50 straight years of attending. I have seen my fair share of quality games and teams. Many times at the state tournament I witnessed very good teams tire out in the 2nd half due to the other team's relentless pressure. It happens. Sometimes you can see it happening based on the first half of play. I believe Silsbee was the better overall team (depth, coaching) in this match up. But to completely dismiss the fact that Washington only plays 6 players and coming off a tough game with LBJ less than 20 hours prior, they had to face a Silsbee team that was deeper and kept up the pressure, would be showing lack of knowledge of the game.
