It's simply amazing to me that one poll as West Brook at #9 in the state and another has them at #48!!! I can see where polls would be different, even as much as 10-15 spots, but not 39 spots!!!

This was the case back in 2006 season. Jasper and Silsbee were playing a district game and Silsbee was leading 35-0 with 7 minutes left in the 3rd quarter when a huge storm blew in, lot's a lightning and wind. Officials waited for 30 minutes and then they called the game, Silsbee winning 35-0. Everyone, including the Jasper coaching staffs, were good with the decision. It was for the best in many ways. ;)

[/quote] I disagree!  WOS is returning most of the exact same kids that beat Nederland by 21 and Kirbyville is also returning most of the exact kids. It has alot to do with last year!  I think ranking wise they are where they need to be.  Nederland had their struggles last year and there is nothing in place that would suggest anything different.  Most preseason rankings are a combination of what they did last year combined with what they have coming back and are expected to do this year. Therefore, in my opinion Nederland is where they need to be and if they have improved and get the wins that matter then they will end up where they deserve.   [/quote] You tell'em rykerx.
