ANOTHER ICE SHOOTING IN Minneapolis

I saw where someone compared Rittenhouse to this situation. Both brought loaded weapons to a protest. One side said it was wrong, the other applauded. I am not saying this is the same but there is some irony. -

2025-26 College Basketball Season thread
AggiesAreWe replied to Mr. Buddy Garrity's topic in College Sports Forum
I am liking me some Bucky Ball but I need to see what they do these next few games against some stout competition. My Aggies have been fortunate enough to have only played one ranked team (lost to Tennessee) thru the first 20 games (16-4). It's definitely a good start and one that most wasn't expecting after Buzz left and took most of the players with him. A&M is at #21 Georgia Saturday, then at #17 Alabama, home for #16 Florida and Missouri, then at #15 Vanderbilt. This stretch will tell us where we are as a tourney team. -

Good to know you see it that way. -

With that said, there is another member here (making many many posts in support of the right) that is in the same situation as CB/Missing Band. That member would have to be gone if we kick this one to the curb. -

I tend to agree. Being closely monitored. A post that this member made in the basketball forum kinda clued me in. -

Orangefield 78 Kountze 44/FINAL

Was told that Orangefield sat two starters (Scales and one other) for the first half due to discipline issue that happened at the Hardin game. -

Could not have said it better, I watched this game off and on last night. Then I watched it this morning in it's entirety. The team that played the best won last night. It's just that simple. The two teams are pretty evenly matched. It's all about who executes the best and who makes the better adjustments when they play each other. United will have another opportunity to avenge the loss. Play better the next time. -

Orangefield 78 Kountze 44/FINAL
AggiesAreWe replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Boys Basketball
When I was told of the halftime score I was very reluctant to post thinking it was a mistake. Now I am curious as to what happened in that first half. -
Worthing, Furr, Northside, Scarborough and Yates. The wins over Mickey Leland, Kashmere and North Forest all stand because the player did not suit up for those games. The loss to Washington does not come into play in regards to the forfeits. Standings leading up to last night's and today's games: 1. Washington (840) 11-0 2. Yates (795) 10-1 3. Worthing (835) 7-4 4. Leland (916) 6-5 4. Furr (1029) 6-5 6. Kashmere (644) 5-6 7. North Forest (945) 4-7 7. Wheatley (619) 4-7 9. Northside (1157) 2-9 10. Scarborough (729) 1-10

I saw where Houston Wheatley has to forfeit 5 of their district games due to playing an ineligible player. They are now on the outside looking in for a playoff spot. This would send Houston Yates to Division 2.
