Silsbee is not going to back out on PNG, LCM, Lumberton and Livingston now putting those teams scrambling to find an opponent this late in the year. All of those teams schedules are set and most likely 99% of all the teams in the state are set schedule wise.

Current West Hardin and former Anderson-Shiro head basketball coach Kully Hoffpauir is expected to be named head boys basketball coach at Spurger at the Spurger ISD board meeting Thursday night. This will obviously close one local head coaching job but open up another.

Also SLC TV has two wild card selections in Nov. 10th & 17th. Lamar could very well land in one or both of those spots pending how the season is going.

When you stay gone from the site for months on end, things happen. I expect when you take your hiatus again thru basketball and baseball season, I will be passing you. Kind of expect more from a mod than to be around for just football season. ;)

[/quote] I understand keeping a clock during some of these "game type" scrimmages, but no need to keep score on any scoreboard, it doesn't count. Also, these scrimmages are as much a practice for the officials as it is for the teams.

[/quote] The difference is, UIL and all other football historians count non-district games to a school's and coaches overall record. No mention in the record archives of scrimmage "wins and losses".
