I just enjoyed a heated debate here on press row between Jim Hicks and DFW Hoops. I backed Jim in the Travis vs. Marcus debate, but had to side with DFW in the Kimball vs. Yates debate. Lot's of fun here at halftime!! ;D

How does a 5A basketball team with two players going to Texas, playing "real" basketball, have only 5 points with 2:30 left in 2nd quarter? Naaman and their '6"11 Texas signee has just played 8 whole clock minutes (equivalent of 1 quarter) without scoring a point!!

Naaman hasn't scored since the 2:53 mark of the 1st quarter.

This game will pit two DI's against three DI's. Naaman Forest has '6"3 guard Demarcus Holland and '6"11 post Prince Ibeh, both Texas commits. Marcus has '6"8 post Nick Banyard, New Mexico commit, and '5"11 guard Phil Forte and '6"3 guard Marcus Smart, both going to Oklahoma State.

The crowds would be pretty sparse if both 1A DII games were in a session by itself. Largest schools enrollment in DII is 78. Also, having all four 5A schools in one session would be too much crowd.
