1943??? Maybe 40-50 years ago. Cy-Fair won state in 1971. So it was 42 years ago to be exact. ;) Cy-Fair broke Houston Wheatley's streak of 3 straight titles by beating Wheatley in championship game 70-58. Wheatley had a pretty good run in that time. Won state titles in '68, '69, '70, finalist '71, semifinalist '72, champion '73.

TAPPS has indoctrinated newer rules over the last few years to try and get a handle on the recruitment aspect of the private school athletics.

They were new transfers after the new coach was hired.

I wondered about this happening over there with the new coach. He coached or trained many in this area.
