Refs had no bearing on the outcome of this game and was not one sided towards West Brook. There were some bad calls but for both teams. Silsbee missing free throws is nothing new. The game was close because Silsbee did not play well and West Brook did.

Cannot make it Thursday. Hoping Silsbee's game(s) on Friday are late evening or night game. I cannot leave Silsbee till 1pm on Friday. Will be there Saturday for their games on that day.

I believe this may be the case. The Bruins did not look all that bad. Of course, playing the #1 team will inspire you to play better. Silsbee on the other hand did not look good. Like I stated, looked like a team just coming off football field with zero practice. Would have been better if Devin McCain and Dontre would have played but Tigers will need some time to jell. Got the Fort Bend tourney coming up and Silsbee will see some very good competition this week. Probably see a loss or two in this tourney but would not surprise me if they ran the table and win it.

Starters for Silsbee were Adams, Harris, Grubbs, Maze and Tanton. The five off the bench were Newton, Michael McCain, Mackey, Adonis Thomas and Kalon Barnes. Ten suited out for the game with all playing significant minutes. Dontre Thomas and Devin McCain did not suit out. Was a very ugly basketball game that was somewhat expected. Looked like a team with half of it's players playing like they just walked off the football field. Very, very rusty and in zero basketball shape. Ton's of fouls called in this game, well over 60. Glad I didn't broadcast this crappy game.

I was told he will be kept out of game tonight for precautionary measures. Also, some of the football players will not suit up tonight nursing some injuries. A few will lace them up and get some playing time. A game thread will be posted soon. There will be no broadcast tonight. Was going to broadcast had the game been tomorrow night but it was moved to tonight. I hope to start broadcasting Silsbee basketball at Fort Bend ISD tourney starting on Friday.
