Huntington------------Interesting, somebody may have to beat Huntington or hope someone else beats Huntington to make the playoffs now, and if Huntington can pull off at least 2 upsets...............man this board might explode.

I wonder if DC wants to change his thoughts on 21-3A since BC lost the RB and QB... 21-3A: 1. Silsbee 2. WO-S 3. Bridge City 4. Orangefield 5. Buna 6. Hardin-Jefferson 7. Hamshire-Fannett
I still think it will end up like this, maybe Buna sneaking in to that 4th spot.
Where's HJ? I dont even see em on that list
Maybe they will have improved enough to beat HF by more than 1 point this season  ;)
Im surprised HF is so low, i thought they had a young team last year. Oh well, i look for them to surprise some folks, i do believe i had them coming in 5th place.
SMH... 20-3A will send 4 out of the 5 teams in district to playoffs.  ::) All a team will have to do is win 1 district game to make playoffs. Potentially a 1-9 team could make playoffs. How stupid!!
 2.

Freshman varsity qbs are not too uncommon on the small school ranks. The first yr may be a down yr if the rest of the team isnt quite up to par. If the kid plays i hope BC has a running game in place.
When you have to replace 1 position its rough but can be worked around... but when you lose two key players in two key positions RB and QB that's a hard row to hoe... especially if you use a Fresh at QB... just no continuity with the jrs and srs on the field... not that it can't be achieved but still a rough patch.. .
Both Hunter and Shugart were starters on defense too.

 9. The 2013 football season in Bridge City has gotten off to a rough start.  While working out, All-District running back Ashton Hunter tore his ACL in his knee and will miss the up coming season. News courtesy of KOGT
 10.
Was thinking this applied to fb only. But it reads all team sports will send four teams to playoffs this year.
That is correct. Only the split division districts in the new realignment will be football only.
