  1. Tre hooped this past season. Was on JV
  2. I think I will give myself a timeout. My apologies for not being positive enough.
  3. Where in Port Neches is this located?
  4. Really? As far as this site goes, check the number of posts in basketball forum vs. baseball forum. Also, more people attend basketball games than baseball, locally and state wide. Nobody = you
  5. I agree. But one question, was the district tough in basketball?
  6. I only responded to the comment of typically close games between the two in all sports.
  7. To answer your question, Silsbee has won a state track championship (1988). A 1 point football win coupled with splitting 4 games in baseball while getting completely blown out in basketball, I guess one could say that is close. I am just saying it is not typical for BC to play Silsbee close in football and basketball.
  8. Didn't know REBgp was talking about state championships. Thought he was talking about how typically games are close when BC and Silsbee play each other in sports, not just baseball. That is what I was commenting on.
  9. Of the three major sports (football, basketball and baseball) only baseball has BC had the upper hand over Silsbee. Silsbee holds a 34-9-1 record over BC in football. Other than this past season's 42-41 BC win, look at the other scores of the football games of late between these two. [Hidden Content] Not close, typically. Bridge City has beat Silsbee just twice in basketball in 44 basketball seasons. Cards are 2-86 lifetime against Silsbee. Bridge City won when it most mattered, in the playoffs. Congrats, job well done. Just pointing out it's not all that typical for the games to be close when BC and Silsbee play in those three sports.
  10. Close? Typical? This past season's basketball scores: Jan. 27 - Silsbee at Bridge City, 94-60* Feb. 14 - Bridge City at Silsbee, 102-35* These are typical scores when BC plays Silsbee in basketball.
  11. BC scores winning run on throwing error. Final 2-1 BC Bridge City takes series 2-0. BC advances to regional semifinal
  12. Silsbee goes in order headed to bottom of 7th tied 1-1
  13. Tigers leave runners at 2nd and 3rd Mid 6 1-1
  14. Silsbee scores a run on 2 hits Mid 4 1-1
  15. BC scores a run on 4 hits, leaves 2. End of 1 1-0 BC
