[Hidden Content] Congrats to Silsbee's Ayden Bell on being named District MVP!!!

Seriously doubt Silsbee will get much from the football guys today. It's a noon game and those guys didn't get back from Nac till after 1am this morning. Memorial will take this one against Silsbee JV

So Silsbee, who reached the regional tourney after winning the district that your beloved coach coaches in, was not a good team. Is that what you are saying? Never heard of a team that wasn't good to win district and make regional tourney. That's a new one for me. Might want to check your credibility.

7 starters is one thing if it's sprinkled around the team. Missing the entire offensive line is another.

Any team at the 4A level and down loses their entire starting offensive line and two defensive line starters will suffer terribly against a good team. That's no excuse, just fact. If you claim your team can overcome that type of loss, you live in a fantasy land.

That's not what you stated. You said any team that has one player score 50% of it's points is not a good team. You didn't give any caveat to who the player could or would be. Silsbee had a player score 50% of it's points on a regular basis. So therefore by your standard, they were not a good team.

I would like to know this as well. May need to make a wager.

Wasn't that the case with Silsbee last year with Bush?

Trust me, that is the case.

Final team stats Lee United Rushing 42/319 yds 31/154 yds Passing 10-19, 57 yds 16-24, 192 yds Total 61/376 yds 55/346 yds

To be very honest, I am not a Tool fan. The two posts I made with the links was just pointing out trolls and tools.

Player of the Game Baytown Lee senior running back Ja’Kenan Davis, the primary ball carrier for the Ganders, rushed for 257 yards on 24 carries, including a 46-yard touchdown. Ganders rushed for over 300 yards tonight.

I was afraid of that. Didn't look like the guy was handling the camera very well. Stayed on his phone a lot.

That and the Tecmo Bowl reference pretty much sealed it for showing my age. lol

It was me. Thanks 85.

District still goes thru Silsbee.

Some kids (not knowing any better) just a few years ago gave it that nickname. Most older, more mature folks do not acknowledge that name.

Think it's a stupid name too. Bunch of kids call it that. Most adults don't.
