Last year's soph. and freshmen class were not the classes I have been referring to. This year's freshmen and 8th grade is the next good group so I highly doubt they will be any help come this November. Good try though.

And a bogus chop block call away from losing by 19 or 20. It goes both ways. Silsbee beat Lumberton last year by 21 at home with Lumberton using a 3rd string QB most of the game. Win by 12 on the road with a much better Lumberton team on the field. I honestly don't see that much difference in the two games in comparison. Silsbee definitely has things to work on but it certainly isn't panic time just because of a 12 point win over Lumberton.

Nor 42. Why just use the Silsbee game in your comparison? Since you like comparing games as a way to predict outcomes, why not use WO-S game? 21-20 loss but Newton only beat the Mustangs by 6. So by that comparison it seems Newton is really only about as much as 10 points better than Nederland. Again, Nederlands numbers would keep the game closer than 42 point spread.

Newton does not beat Nederland by 50. Get real.

That would be your first mistake. No one really wants to listen to an audio play by that's done in the manner of video play by. Audio has to be very descriptive. Doing an audio broadcast by doing video play by just doesn't work. Listeners (not viewers) need lots of info.

8 in a row? I never realized it had been that many games. Didn't get to watch the game but listened to it. Was at a car show here in Silsbee helping support my oldest son who had a car in the show. Several folks around us was wondering why I was cheering for both teams.
