kids to look out for this year on the hardwood ??
AggiesAreWe replied to UNT-AggieMan's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Exactly. Every ranking that I have seen (and these rankings are from some very good experts in ranking players who see these guys play at the highest levels of summer ball) have Hefner well ahead of Harrison. Just on the small amount of what I have seen of these two, I would have to put Hefner ahead of Harrison. But I will let the real experts decide this debate. I value what Jim and Doug have to say. -

Most of the experts I have spoke to has Hefner above Harrison. -
So let me get this straight, in comparing two teams the head to head record really doesn't matter, correct? I would have to say that if one team beats the other 9 out of 12 times they are the better program.

Due to rains and field conditions, Silsbee Tigers home football game against Bridge City scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 19 has moved to Lumberton Raider Stadium. Kickoff remains the same at 7:30 p.m.

If Livingston could only score 14 against Orangefield (14-20) and 7 against Liberty (7-49), I certainly cannot see them scoring 28 against Jasper.
-
I thought Caleb had a very good game. He tackled well. The rest of the team, not so much.

With how the weather looks, I don't see a blow out regardless of QB play.

To be accurate, it's not a tourney. Teams only play one or two games. There is no championship -
Jasper 42 Little Cypress-Mauriceville 14/FINAL

Silsbee has always wanted to keep the Jasper game. Goes back to the 1920's. Over 70 games played. Jasper (Barbay) is the one who decided to end playing Silsbee. -
Very tempting to take ND +14 but I think I will stay away from this one. tu -5 at home is a solid play Miss. St -7 at home with Kentucky minus their QB is a gimme LSU should cover the -23.5 at Vandy I like Ole Miss at home laying the 2.

I've learned over the years of me betting on games that there are just some games you stay away from. I'll take a +1100 without betting on my Aggies every Saturday.
-
I had a very good Saturday! Went a +1100 by finishing the night with a 4 game parlay Hawaii/Wash over 59.5 ($100) FSU +7.5 (100) tu -31.5 (100) TT/Zona under 75 (100) parlay $50 (9/1, $450) total $850 CHA CHING!!!!!
-
Just depends on if Jimbo has money on the cover and over. I stayed away from this one.

I thought Foster had a very good game, particularly in taking care of the football. One of the reasons why we chose him as player of the game. But I put emphasis on him taking care of the ball because he had 4 turnovers in first two games and that may be the reason some wanted to see Briscoe get some reps. I think Foster should be the starter. Just would like to see Briscoe get some time. Oh, and our tackling improved a little, but still not very good.

Took the under in Wash St/Cougar High game at 76.5 Cha Ching $200
