Three way scrimmge tonight at West Hardin. West Hardin Evadale Sabine Pass

I'll take the word of both coaching staffs.

No. Word I received from coaches on both staffs.

It was a little shoving match, small skirmish. Nothing big about it and certainly nothing to report.

I did not attend but I can say with 100% certainty that there was no winner or loser.

Orangefield/LC-M scrimmage for tomorrow has been moved to Vidor. Starts at 5pm

I am currently in Silsbee until Tuesday. What teams are scrimmaging tonight?

I saw that. It will be on their website.

Maxpreps...... smh

Curious as to what you mean by HD "letting" athletes leave?

Silsbee's Waldo Mathews HS

The new head coach (Hickman) is a defensive guy. That's what he played in high school and college and that's what he has coached his entire career.

SETXsports is in talks with Orange County teams to broadcast their games. It's my understanding they already have the go ahead for WO-S and Bridge City.

The RB Reeves is a good one. He impressed me as a soph. last year.

It's funny you bring that up. I have known some folks who have parked over there at Chili's for the game.

I had heard that the implication was they dis enrolled a few students before snapshot then re-enrolled them. Regardless, the UIL really had no other choice but to ban them from postseason. I also think the UIL suspects there was intent on Alto's part.

Hardin-Jefferson schedule shows the game to be at BISD Stadium and not Lamar.

Ranking 4th graders? SMH Any publication ranking 4th graders can't be taken seriously.

Are you suggesting that it should have been written "8 wins and 3 losses overall and 3 wins and 2 losses in district play"? If so, pretty nitpicking.

txhsfb(Tony Blalock) @TXHSFB · 13m Alto can seek a Division I district to play in for 2023. This would require a unanimous vote from 11-2AD2 to allow Alto to leave & a unanimous vote of the district they would be joining.

Question now is will the ban be for just this year or next year as well?

txhsfb(Tony Blalock) @TXHSFB · 11m Listening to the UIL hearing on Alto's division alignment. * Alto turned in enrollment number in error. * True number would have placed it in division 1. The difference was 3 students. txhsfb(Tony Blalock) @TXHSFB · 6m UIL committee has ruled that Alto will stay in 11-2AD2 for football but will be ineligible for district honors (can't make playoffs). Doesn't not apply to any sports other than football as they were properly aligned.
