1. Congrats to Buna on a solid game. Good job by the Warren pitchers of keeping the Buna bats in check not letting them string together hits, just gotta cut out the errors. Can't wait for the rematch.
2. Looking forward to a quality ball game from two quality teams.
3.
No comment on that. I have friends down in Warren. Im just tired of people thinking they beat Woodville. That did not happen. Lol but i do wish Warren the best of luck against anybody except Woodville ;)
I agree. Was one good game though. Just hated not seeing a real end to it. 9-9....just tells me close game and WOODVILLE couldn't put the young squad away. Looks real good for next year. Would love to see the match up with something on the line.
4. The kid from Warren was #2 Watts, a junior with a very live arm.
5. So Buna should have NO problem with Warren next week....your talking run rule, right?
6. The official tie breaker is number of runners reaching third.  Warren had more.
7. Sounds to me like someone has a recycled football coach running the baseball program. Suck it up, no pain, no gain, win! win! win!, and all the other football cliche's.
8. Predistrict wins are just for the warm fuzzies...they don't mean anything. Most teams are still looking at players, trying different combuinations. Relief pitchers (and potential pitchers) should be seeing the lions share of work. Starters get enough to get warmed up and tuned up. If a starting pitcher (as in starting in the district race) is going a complete game at this point, I'm worried about the teams seaon.
9. Buna may break out of district, may even win district. But, will have to have other teams help them out. One bad call kept the Warren game in Buna close last  year, or your looking at a blow out. Even if the talent is the same, the experience is gone. And that lack of experience was all that stopped Warren from taking district last year. Kountze has talent. If the can "put it together", time will tell. E/c is my sleeper pick and I look for them to hurt some feelings this year. But with the returning starters, two years varsity and one year playoff experience under the belts of almost all the Warren varsity....well, overlook 'em if you want to.
10.
1. Buna 2. East Chambers 3. Warren In order to be the best, you must beat the best.
If I recall, both East Chambers and Warren did just that last year...
11. Two weeks and can't wait. Lots of returning talent, some already signing for the next level . (Congrats again to Price). And with BBcor bats sure to be a factor, this can't help but get GOOD!!! Here is my 2012 prediction. (No disrespect intended): 1. Warren 2. Hardin 3. E/C
12. Let the count down begin!!! :) Good luck to all.  Time to start warming the arms up, oil the glove and grip the bat!!
13. Warren returns: First Team All-District Pitcher: Chase Gray  Infielder: Kolton Perfect Second Team All-District Infielder: Hunter Holloway Outfielder: Dylan Watts Only graduated 5. 1st base, Short stop (Defensive MVP), Catcher, Left and Center Field. Will be the 3rd year varsity for most the team, as they continue to improve.
