1. Lamar men improve to 2-2 with a 72-54 win over the UNC Charlotte 49ers.
 2. The only team left playing from TIFI in Beaumont is the sophomore team (9 years old as of September 1). They have their championship game this week in Alvin against the Dickinson Gators.  I personally don't think the Beaumont chapter president and head coach would go for it...
 3. Freshman final... LaPorte Texans 24 Bulls 0 The freshman Bulls end their season at 7-4.
 4. Especially driving there for a blow out.  :)
 5. I want the Cards to win this one but i want lil Ford to have a big game.
 6. Sophomore final... Bulls 20 Clear Lake Falcons 8 The 11-0 Bulls trailed 8-0 at the half but fought back for the victory.  The Bulls will be playing in the TIFI Super Bowl next week in Alvin, Texas.  Opponent and time will be posted later.
 7. The Freshman Bulls (8 year olds) with an overall record of 7-3 defeated the Deer Park Tigers last week in the 1st round 26-22.  They will be playing the LaPorte Texans, a team they lost to in week 4 20-14, at 12:30 in Deer Park. The Sophomore Bulls (9 year olds and last years overall freshman champions) with an overall record of 10-0 defeated the LaPorte Cowboys last week in the 1st round 35-6.  They will be playing the Clear Lake Falcons, the team they beat in last years Super Bowl, tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. in Deer Park. 10.
Now, with that being said, I have some things that PN-G can work on in this meaningless game.(maybe there is meaning since I believe they are playing for seeding for Dayton or the Ant Mound) 1. Don't go away from what works.  You guys have the greatest mismatch perhaps of any team entering the playoffs with the Nelson kid.  If that kid can make those catches in double coverage, keep feeding him the ball down stretch. You guys had the foot on Vidor's neck and slacked off.  2. On defense, keep #8 in positions to make plays. 3.  Keep the offense balanced.  Good teams you will face in the playoffs will stop one or the other.  4. Don't go away from the trick play.  'Tricky' teams are the dangerous teams in the playoffs.  I love the swinging gate for extra points and the shotgun formation punts that you guys do. Also, I love the guts to call double reverse pass plays.  The offensive scheme is on point. 5.  You guys need to tell your coach that the backup RB (#25 I believe) to get more time in games than 2 or 3 plays a night.  He's a gamer.  Your staff should be able to see that.  Heck, I know the fans see it.  6.  I hear that you guys have a Sophmore Reciever.  Since #4 will automatically get a double team, throw to the young gun on the other side.  I hear he's pretty good. It'll be nice to get this kid experienced in playoff football since  you  have him 2 more  years.
Hey, i know Faircloth is a classy guy but I don't want him to get off the gas till the last minute of the game.  Give us another shut out and big blow out.  That will maybe help us bring in some new coaching blood.  I haven't seen you'll play this year but maybe since Soulja says that your coaching staff is so creative maybe we can borrow your OC for the next several years...

These are kids that learned only under him!
Good point, Also i dont know but i dont think stowers wanted to leave. I think he left becaues of some situations going on with the school administration..Now idk how true that is but its been going around central since he left, and I for one hated to see him go, we had some of our best teams under him, and his defensive schemes where pin point accurate evey game.. Washington was not a bad coach by the way even though that was stowers coached kids the 1st 2seasons he still won district and went 2+ rounds in the playoffs in his first 2yrs..so give him credit
Well I was good friends with one of Stowers former assistants who lived right next door to him.  What you stated was the truth.  Lambert was new to the school and had to be in total control of everything.  Stowers has a no back down and no kissing your a** attitude which was great for handling those boys who needed that kind of structure and guidance but she didn't like it.  There was a lot of friction so he used his playoff runs to get the Little Elm job which he has turned from a door mat to a playoff team. Suggested and Stowers were 2 that I thought were good that got away. Like I've been saying, my Jaguars don't need coaches that are buddy buddy with them and want to be cool.  The need military style,  hard nosed,  take no sh**, structured,  I'm the boss coaches.  Those kids shouldn't and wouldn't have just quite once they were eliminated from the playoffs.

 15.
All All I have to say is this pretty much solidified that a COMPLETE housecleaning will be in order before next year.  When I seen us get Embarrassed against Vidor, I knew that it was a done deal, which is why I could no longer stomach another Central game this year.
Well Soulja I wasn't in attendance either.  I owe somebody a meal on a bet that I made a year ago.  Never would have thought that they would loose like this.  They have no pride.  If nothing else play to not be the team that gives the 0-8 team their only win of the season.  Props to Lumberton for not going 0-10 this year.  I was stating on a previous thread that I thought it was time for a new OC and DC change but after last nights loss, maybe a COMPLETE housecleaning is needed.  I like when they hire from outside of the Golden Triangle  cause those guys are successful but they use the job as a resume builder to move on somewhere else.  I bet they'll get another year though...

Amazing. What clown was taping the speech instead of listening to his coach? You don't want Little Johnny getting yelled at, then maybe Little Johnny should do his job on the field.
That little Johnny shouldn't even be on the team.  Another sign of what a weak society we are becoming.
Unfortunately, North, you are spot on about this. Sad, very sad.
I honestly feel that there was nothing wrong with his pregame speech.  Sound like they were having the kind of year us Jags are having.  Maybe he should come give our pregame speech instead of our buddy buddy coaches.  Anyway, the coaches shouldn't allow any devices in the locker room.  The kid that was recording this is part of the teams problem.  If my son would have been the one to record that, I would have tore his butt up.  And if you don't want your child hearing those kind of pregame speeches from time to time, go ahead and tell them to play golf like the coach said. He was not in the classroom giving this speech so he shouldn't have given his resignation... *Mod edit - no foul language, even masked! *

 22. All four levels of the TIFI league Beaumont Bulls qualified for the playoffs to be held this coming Saturday, October 29.  All rounds of the playoffs will be held at Deer Park High School in Deer Park, Texas.  TIFI is made up of 16 teams at each level that are split into two, eight team conferences.  To qualify for the playoffs each team had to finish in the top four of their respective conference. The Freshman Bulls (8 year olds) with an overall record of 6-3 finished in a three way tie for second place with a 5-2 NFL conference record.  The tie was settled by a coin toss and the Bulls recieved the #3 seed which has them slated to play the #2 seeded Deer Park Tigers from the AFL (7-2, 6-1) at 11 a.m. The Sophomore Bulls (9 year olds and last years overall freshman champions) with an overall record of 9-0 finished in first place with a 7-0 NFL conference record.  The Bulls have the #1 seed which has them slated to play the #4 seeded LaPorte Cowboys from the AFL (5-4, 4-3) at 9:30 a.m. The Junior Bulls (10 year olds) with an overall record of 5-4 finished in fourth place with a 5-2 NFL conference record.  The Bulls have the #4 seed which has them slated to play the #1 seed Galveston Hurricanes from the AFL (8-1, 6-1) at 2 p.m. The Senior Bulls (11 year olds) with an overall record of 5-4 finished in fourth place with a 4-3 NFL conference record.  The Bulls have the #4 seed which has them slated to play the #1 seed LaPorte Cowboys from the AFL (9-0, 7-0) at 12:30 p.m. TIFI League Information... 23. I agree with you Soulja.  Not turning my back on the Jags but I will not be in attendence anymore.  My last game was the Nederland game.  Like i stated on another thread, the head coach can stay both there need to be changes to the OC and DC...
 24. I'm praying that we can beat Lumberton.  That we are not the team that they get their lone win against.  This is the last chance for another W this year cause PN-G will beat us next week.  Regardless of what happens, Coach Washington has a 2nd place and 1st place finish in his first 2 years.  This his 3rd year will not end with a playoff birth.  I hope he is given another year just cause he has been around the school for a long time.  But I will say he needs to bring in some new, fresh, young blood for the OC and DC positions for next year.  Not knocking any of the other schools but too much athletic talent there not to be a playoff team every year. Central gets the W in this one.
