Every student that I've talked to from both campuses has said maroon and gold. So it sounds like the kids are on the same page when it comes to that. Now the mascot, they are all over the place. The main ones I've been hearing are the Lions, Knights and Stallions. School name, well that's a whole other story...

Money already set aside for that. Every sport, every grade and every extracurricular activity will have new uniforms.

Wish I would have read this yesterday. I was at a meeting last night with the AD and would have asked him. I hope so because they will receive the same pay...

The pay raise was applied for. Now has it been approved, that's a different question.

The vote is tomorrow during school by the students. The results will be released Thursday night at the board meeting in which I'll be in attendance...

Do you blame him? The PA fans were never going to be satisfied with him. They'll get a lot of applicants for the Titan job.

Now that you mention it, I do remember that. I didn't like the fact that the boys would be going in with their first game being against Memorial while everyone else was calling around getting games set up. Not saying that they wouldn't have had the 3 losses against Memorial, Vidor and PN-G but they needed a tune-up. The job posting is supposed to close today so we will try to get a list of applicants next week. In the end, whoever is picked, I will support them and the team. I just feel like this year as a whole when it comes to football, some things were squandered.

Yea bro... Then he goes up there and goes 0-10 but gets more kids in college then we did down here. I might not always have agreed with his in game decisions but the guy knows how to network, apparently has connections and most importantly get kids a chance at the next level. My oldest told me yesterday that TF always had college coaches stopping by the program. He even had a college day where he invited college coaches out and let the boys showcase their talents and measurables. I'm not a scout but I know there are a few more boys on that team that can play at the next level somewhere. I was told TF was actually in town yesterday, don't know how true that is though...

I know one thing TF's, smallest group while he was at Central, if my memory serves me correct, was 9. I think a total in the low 40's in his 4 years there. Yesterday 2... I hope the AD takes these kind of things into consideration when picking the new coach for Ozen-Central.

Now it makes sense as to why the quality of people coming up in the Port Neches-Groves area is improving...

I knew you would point me out, what else would I expect? All I initially did was make a joking comment about BF coming to Beaumont to coach and she responded with the ALL CAPS! So hey I did too. Then the "dumbing off" comment, well at that point any slug I decided to shoot as far as I'm concerned was fair. No apologies coming from me. But anyway, we all know BF ain't leaving PN-G for BISD unless the money is right...

186 days to the first day of August football practice since the new school will do Spring ball. Plenty of time in my opinion. A new head coach will be in place by Spring break at the latest. Enough time to beat Nederland anyway...

The endzones are getting painted similar to the ones at the Rig in Pearland. One will be some form of WB Bruins colors, name and logo and the other for the new school. A coin flip will determine who gets the North endzone and who gets the South one.

I'm waiting to see on that WB part. How many coaches at different levels have come in after a successful coach has left, had a good 1 and/or 2nd years but then can't maintain what was built and handed to them...
