When Central Heights ties up with Hemphill it should be a slugfest with those two offenses! It will come down to (as it always seems to) pitching, pitching pitching, pitching, and defense. The team that doesn't beat themselves will win this game.

I missed the game tonight. Were there any home runs? Could someone send me some stats on here please? Thanks
-
Yep, Chris did hit an absolute bomb! Had to have gone at least 400 feet because its 402' to dead center and roughly 380' to the power alley where he hit it. It got out in a hurry!

West Sabine wins 9-8

Chris Williams went yard for West Sabine tonight against Broaddus. 2-run shot

You are right. Those tactics would eventually become obvious. I know there are two sides to every story, but having been on the wrong end of several scores (albeit NONE that bad) you reach a point where you just start laughing and look forward to the next game. I feel the winning coach was probably more embarrassed than the loser because he, more than likely, had to explain why the score was run up.

Hey Bucketsitr, who won tonight?
-
That's pitiful sportsmanship! I mean after it got to say 20-0 I would have my guys bunt every AB, swing at terrible pitches, etc., etc.
Whoever did this will recieve their comeuppance somewhere down the road, hopefully in a playoff deciding game! Wouldn't that be poetic justice at it's finest! -
What was the score?
-
Ok. Just a scheduling quirk I guess. Thanks!

Is the West Sabine/Burkeville game Monday night (Mar.14) and the following game is on Mar.17th? Shouldn't it be the 15th and the 18th, respectively? Thanks.

What time is the West Sabine/Harleton game Tuesday?

West Sabine and Tenaha collide Wednesday night with a regional semifinal berth on the line. Who will win and why? I got West Sabine because of their depth(not being a homer here!!).
-
Go for it Mustangs. I agree with bucketsitr, you gotta leave it all on the court! But enjoy the ride along the way as well.
-
I agree. West Sabine wins.

West Sabine's depth came to the forefront last night. Their conditioning is excellent and it showed last night. Seems like every team these days has trouble sinking their FT's, though. The only thing that will cure that is practice, practice, practice, and (wait for it) more practice! Seems like Evadale has trouble guarding teams with speedy guards, of which West Sabine has many. Can't really give an accurate assessment, however, seeing as how that was the only game I have seen Evadale play.
-
Should be an entertaining game. I'll say West Sabine by 10. Will probably be close throughout though. Will be honest I don't really know anything about Evadale except what I've read on here. Think they have a 6'7" post named Stark?
-
To LAZEEK, you will be impressed with them, and I'm not just being a homer here. What they lack in size up front they make up for with sheer athleticism. Most of them can jump practically out of the gym! They can go through stretches of cold shooting, but what team doesn't from time to time. Smothering on defense as well. Haven't seen Evadale play but I hear they have a 6'7" forward who is good. Can't think of his name right offhand though.Should be a great game!
-
Yes, West Sabine only has those 2 over 6ft., but every one of their players plays bigger than their listed height. They have unbelievable leaping ability. Like they have jets in their shoes! They still average right around 30-35 rebounds per game.
-
West Sabine/Evadale will be extremely interesting. West Sabine has tremendous depth, going 2-3 deep at each position.
-
I've heard that West Sabine and Evadale will be playing 6:00 game Friday. Is this true?
-
Could someone email me the stats please? Couldn't make the game tonight. [email protected]

West Sabine movin on up to #21! Playoffs can't get here fast enough!!!
-
Yet another classic tilt between the two goliaths of district 24! The officials actually let the boys play for a change. i know I will probably catch flak from Broaddus fans but quite frankly I don't care. Both point guards (#24 for Broaddus and Weatherspoon for West Sabine) fouled out. West Sabine takes District 24 for the fifth year in a row!
Central Heights at Hemphill! Predictions?
