Coldspring is picked by most people to finish 2nd in our district. They're a decent squad. It's hard for me to do much of a prediction as well because I don't know anything about LCM aside from the fact that Winters is a very good back. Lol

Only 2 starters. Coach Robinson has seemed to be big on not playing kids both ways if it can be avoided without a drop in production.

Oh trust me, I didn't forget. I was thoroughly impressed by how well-coached Madisonville was.

Final Woodville 22 Madisonville 30 Mistakes and turnovers killed Woodville. Three turnovers and a late turnover on downs in Madisonville territory is nearly impossible to overcome against a good team like the Mustangs. Madisonville is a very well-coached and disciplined team. Having two of your best athletes cramp up that late in the game hurts alot, but that's nobody's fault but our own. Hats off to Madisonville. They're a heck of a football team. Could possibly finish undefeated, looking at their schedule.

You're absolutely right. Woodville had two drives killed by fumbles inside the Madisonville 20 that were 60+ yard drives, then allowed a kickoff return for a TD. We cant beat a good team making those kinds of mistakes.

This is the first game with a new head coach, after missing alot of practice time, and all of the stressful events over the summer. I fully expect Kirbyville to compete much better when we make the trip over there. Go Kats!!

Two turnovers deep in Madisonville territory have killed the Eagles. This should be a 32-17 game in favor of Woodville. Madisonville is a good team and has alot of athletes, but I thought they'd be more athletic than they are as a team. They're clearly a very well-coached squad though. If Woodville eliminates the turnovers, they should pull away in the second half. Should......but this is Texas HS football.
