    yeah, not many Nederland season tickets available either. People wait overnight for the tickets and maybe 50-70 or so are available , if that much.

    Lol. A lot of talk from a team that has won one game in the last 7 years. I understand when the season starts, but as of now there is no coach or staff or even a school name. They need to pick up the pace some.

    Santa Fe was 4-4 last year, but their losses were to Manvel, FB Marshall, Texas City and Galveston Ball. Manvel went to state, FB Marshall was 9-2 and made it to the 4th round, and TC got knocked out by PNG in the second round. Ball made it to the second round before losing to PAM. So their losses were all to playoff teams that made at least decent runs.

    Yep. And the new coach is running out of time to prepare for the new season especially if they bring in someone new from outside. Not to mention the ISD has to decide which assistants are going to the new school and then the coach has to get everyone on the same page and establish the program. A lot of hurdles for the first year.

    Or move the WB game to Saturday and have Nederland vs Ozen/Central on Friday. BTW, I wish they would hurry up and name the new school, I am getting tired of having to put Ozen/Central down as a placeholder for the new school!

    Yeah, its not only dangerous for the players but the fans as well. I think there was a fan that had some medical issue at the Ned/Vidor game last year (which was a 2pm game)

    Wouldn't be hard to have a Saturday game for one team, since they are only juggling two teams now. As long as the Sat. game isn't at 2pm!

    Hmm, they had 2 picks and held PNG under 42 points for the first time in the season. So they made stops when they needed to.

    not in 6A , they just split 5A this year.

    wont happen. They will probably extend it to 6A in the next few years.

    I don’t think Dayton will improve that much this year. I think you have Lee a little high too.

    its 14 for Vidor, they have a special scoreboard operator just for that game.

    didn't make a difference did it? Faircloth is still 2-7 vs Ned.

    Dang sprinklers keep malfunctioning at the stadium, but usually only when we play the BMT teams or PA.

    Sounds like a pretty good non-district schedule for Nederland. I like it, it should have them ready for district.
