The discussion is about the issue of targeting and not about him at all.  He if did not want to be the topic of discussion he shouldn't have bluntly targeted the kid in front of a few thousand people with cameras. 
My concern is for the kid that did nothing wrong and was pretty much assaulted and is suffering serious medical issues.  

I'm sure there is plenty that went along with that in house that is not publicized.  I just hope he learns to make better decisions and gains some better sportsmanship from this incident. Best wishes to both!

No one is being prosecuted or any discipline handed out as a result of this discussion.  This is a high school football forum.  You don't like it or don't want to read it?  The past 30 years this type of stuff has been handled by the coaches and you see how well that has turned out.  I have no issues with this being addressed and public discussion.

First of all to imply that Slsbee is indiscipline and promotes or allows that is very wrong. They do not!  That's a ignorant assumption.  That was a poor decision by an individual 17 year old kid.   Second, you keep saying WOS will not allow this.  What could WOS do different in this situation that Jasper didn't do?  Jasper did the right sportsman like thing and let it go for officials and admins to handle later.  They did not retaliate.  Something WOS most likely would have not done so maybe that's what you mean?

I know EC is not what we were, but we are a lot better than last season. This week will be a good test to see where we are at, we are still a very young team.

Corruption, lies, affairs, tragedy, half the staff quit, all the admins at all campuses quit, the half that didn't most are flooded in, new AD, new system, just about all new coaches and running an offense that they do not seem to be getting.  Other than that we are doing very well thanks!

Newton was willing to play even if no school.  Kirbyville is the one who refused to play.
