Good post Todd and I dont think that will upset any Kirbyville person because we know its true. You didnt say anything we dont know and think about everyday.  

The fall of Kirbyville and all the stuff yall have listed above can be traced back and correlated with one date.  The day they hired Wallis as Superintendent this districts tradition, winning and ethics started its decline. 

This was going to happen this year so why not now.  The relationship between Jones and Bennett would not have survived the year.  I would rather this transaction take place now rather than middle of district or playoff.  I respect Bennett and his family and wish him well but it was time to go.  If you can not tell the Kirbyville posters do not want to turn this into a Bennett bashing thread and start throwing out all the reasons for the "this and thats".  Complaints were being brought about the condition of the baseball program before school board and administration staff well before Jones came into the picture.  There is alot of respect for Bennett and his family and I wish them all the best moving forward wherever he lands.   

Exactly and will never again get a response, acknowledgement or even take the time to even read your post. 

Then make us all happy and stay out of our business.  You obviously have no clue about Kirbyville .

You obviously have no clue what your talking about.  I wouldnt call those 3 allies. If you knew the dynamics of whats going on in Kirbyville youd know how ignorant that statment is.

The support comes from not what Coach Jones brings but more displeasure with Coach Bennett.

I dont think you will find anyone in the community upset about this and support the change. 

Coach Jones has taken over HC at Kirbyville.  Bennetts out.

Im sure he knows the kids limits much better than I do.  He just seemed to be in alot of pain. 

I was told last night just one also.  

Evadale will do well in 2A.  They looked very good.  The starting pitcher (I think 18) is a big kid with good power.  He should have a good year esp if he can learn to ignore whats going on around him and control the emotions.  Well that is if the coach does not blow his arm out early.  I have never seen a kid in that much pain left in the game to pitch.

Thats not completely accurate.  Theres more to that story and im currently glad they have that much power right now in Kirbyville.

At least Kirbyville stepped up to play them.  I suppose Newton is scared of Buna?

I think its funny that for a few years now we have heard members like unclepig, mosshill, and several others make the suggestion that setx will be would more successful if they paid more and upgraded utilities.  Someone asks who are the worst in the area and first responses are WOS and Newton.  You might be onto something here!

How is 8 years at DC at PG,, not football experience, .  The man wins at everything he does.  He is old school discipline and toughness which is what Kirbyville needed.  The baseball experience is just a bonus.  Trust me he was hired for what he can do in football and it will translate to all sports, even girls!  Kirbyville will be just fine now

Could be on Kville campus as soon as Friday but most likely next week.
