I see what you're saying, but learning, representing the community with sports is always best done with your people. And before anyone takes this the wrong way, I'm talking about the people that you've grown up with from a small kid. Your people...

But we knew Evadale was gonna be good even before the addition of Mackey.... I wouldn't put them on this list....

Kronos is right. I know for a fact that parents are moving their kids to other isd's and the reason has been stated on many occasions. And I've stated that PAISD has many resources that other ISD's just don't have but many parents just don't know and don't care even though it's being given all the time (the information). And the athletics in PA is pretty good too. Football is a big deal there and the basketball is about to return to the days of Gamble/Boutee... The stigma is what makes parents want to move. And that stigman is wrong. I know many that thrive/thrived in PAISD... Why not go there? most work in PA anyway...

I'm just stating facts. Not trying to argue either.. But the comment about numbers is pretty lame. The GCM example is a good one. And no mention was made of their numbers.

It's funny... Non of this was said vs. Goose Creek Memorial, who was the biggest school in the district for 2 years and who are now in 6a. Never heard this argument not once..

Outmanned are you talking about the injuries or are you whining about the numbers... Numbers that neither school has control over? Bigger and faster? To me, it's the typical PA Memorial team. They have size and speed every year. We know thay because we play them every year for about 8 years...

He's put up 200 yard games against regular teams and haven't been held to under 100 yards even against #1 state ranked teams.... Kid was gonna do his thing regardless...

...but memorial made the cuttoff... They're 5a now. When the playoffs start, they'll eventually face a team of equal numbers. But that's no excuse. They're 5a, you're 5a. Line up and see what it do. Look in that bother district. Splendora barely made cutoff to 5a and are competing quite well. In west Brook's district, Lufkin. Is th e smallest 6a school and only has 1 district loss and the one loss was a gianormous 6a school who gave them everything they wanted. And if I'm not mistaken, Katy is on the smaller side in their district and you see how they do it...

I'm not gonna entertain that one... Lol

Actually, I think they deserved the right to talk. They're 5a now, play them, beat them. If you lose to them, you can talk smack. You can shut them up by beating them. Nederland has been doing it for 5 years... Obviously, there's new sheriffs in town. Change is so painful but sometimes necessary...

Yep, very impressive. What's even more impressive is how humble he is. If you talk to him and congratulation him, he'll mention the Man above in his first sentence. Yes came a long way from when he was a sophmore and he was just a speed back. Now, he has great balance, vision, and a little more strength is his last year of HS football. Gonna be fun seeing him do it in district!

Well, he's not from MC, but Mr. Pouncy is without a doubt numero uno most hated all time! Lol
