I'm so glad Brook pulled it out and I'm glad Elia is back to himself from the last 2 years... And 82, I told you they'd win the second meeting. But Bro, you're too crucial on the coaching. Peevey and his staff are pretty darn good. Trust them and this is what happens. They're a lot better team now than when you seen the early in the season. This Brook team has a SERIOUS chance of making it out of the region this year. Watch and see...

That Nederland/Silsbee game was played on a wet and sloppy field. They turned the ball over a lot that night... But Silsbee defense did play very well that night... Very hard game to judge. Nederland has some kids that can go and plays disciplined defense. The ex factor is Nederland has probably the best coaching of any team in SETX. But Marshall is a different animal and they will probably win by double digits...

They have decent amount of athletes. They run a true spread, but it'll be like playing Spring Hill. Nothing that Silsbee having seen....

Just a casual observation. It a usually a trend that when the Kountze basketball program is down, Silsbee's is up, and vise versa. So maybe when this year's wave of talent leaves, maybe we'll see Kountze Hoops get back to where they used to be....

I agree somewhat, just saying you can't teach experience... A 2-5 point loss, understandable. You wasn't prepared... Fine. 19 point loss for THIS year's team is still a head scratcher no matter how you spin it. I did, however, expect Memorial's big man to eat down low, no matter what...

True... Very true. I'm just not liking that Silsbee couldn't overcome adversity. At this point, many of the kids are 3 and 4 year starters. They should have seen it all. this PA game shouldn't have been an exception. Losing by 19 is a true head scratcher.
