I've said... If Bush isn't on, Silsbee struggles... If Bush continues to be cold in the second half and if someone from Brook gets hot, Silsbee loses by double digits..

Talent comes in waves. This Tiger team is special. Been seen it several years back... When this group moves on, they'll be another special group. More than likely from Beaumont. That's how it happens... No shame in losing to them. If Silsbee beats WB tonight, that probably wouldn't be that much of a big deal...Silsbee has been playing 6a and 5a teams for about 4 years not consistently...

Basketball is a little different than football. Mostly it's your best 5 vs my best 5. That best 5 can appear from small schools. Not that much of a differance in basketball...

And Silsbee basketball is a different animal right now. They have probably the most experienced team in SETX. 2 4 yard starters, 1 3 year starters. 2 form or state tournament MVP's, and a 2 time championship coach. Hard to beat them NOW. but lets not get ahead of ourselves. There was a few times a few years ago where silsbee basketball was beaten by central for 40 points TWICE. Point is, some teams have more talent than others. That central team obviously had talent as they marched to the state tournament AND to the region tournament finals...

United has right under 2500 kids...

How many offers does he have and have he committed?

Do You guys have anything else to say a out the Woodville game. If so, it'll stay open. If not, I'll lock it...

I was told from a reliable source that Cy-Falls looked like a mirror image of WB. If Tompkins was able to beat Falls, then this will be a game. The Bruins defense will need to step up big time. I know we're putting a lot of pressure on that side of the ball. It at this point of the playoffs, those guys will need to ball out. If WB defense steps up and makes key stops, I see the score being the same as Calpreps predicted...

Heck of a game. Silsbee's experience showed in this game. There was no answer for Bush. Too quick to play close to and too good of a shooter to play off of. When United went up late in the 4th, Silsbee stayed poised and despite the missed free throws from Tyler, Silsbee still came up with key defensive plays to get extra possessions and convert. I was impress. All isn't bad for United. Harrison is a monster, and will be a thorn for a lot of teams. No shame losing to the 2 time state champs. Regroup, find an identity and go on a winning streak.
