  1. I thought they were pretty close to getting it...
  2. Silsbee has had the label best stadium in SETX for the better part of 10 years. Even with grass and not a video board, i think they're up there. Turf will really be a huge upgrade for them.
  3. With Vidor and Nederland being amongst the last to transition to artificial playing surface, what school in SETX is slated next to get turf? If so, when?
  4. Look. This kid ram through my Jags like a hot knife through butter, and it wasn't even funny.
  5. Very good explanation, especially the part about Wiesbrod. And I'd leave Bosha since he was a more superior scorer with length...
  6. This kid needs to be mentioned as an altime great. I'm sure that just his Senior year highlights would suffice...
  7. For you youngsters who was not blessed to see this young man in HS at PA Memorial and to put it in prospective how good he was, look at 1:29 - 4:50 of this video.
  8. πŸ˜πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ
  9. Video games does nothing to build skill, speed, strength, or balance...
  10. Some kids have basketball goals in their driveways. So there's always work to be done there.
  11. I really wanted to slide Sweet on my list... for the Jag in me....
  12. Hey, @kingjames that kid has been a pleasure to watch for 4 years. I'm definitly going to check him out next year. I know he'll put up huge numbers there as well.
  13. Assuming that we're talking about how successful/talented they were IN high school. Or maybe the eventual career they had after high school. Either way, I'll take a stab at it in this order. 1. K. Perkins 2. O. Snead 3. B.B. Davis 4. S. Jackson 5. J. Adams 6. J. Brown 7. J. Gulley 8. K. Richards 9. Bosha 10. N. Pearson (These are guys that went on to do well in professional career or college career)
  14. His name was the first to cross my mind I meant to put him up there..
  15. J. Charles should be on the top of everyone's list. These players were lots of fun to watch in person and also should be mentioned as the all time greats... L. McElroy - Central C. Tyler - Ozen/Silsbee C. Michael - West Brook M. Mosley - Nederland Ford - Kirbyville Hussey - Lumberton D. Smith - West Brook
  16. From a talent standpoint, couple of players come to mind. Green III - Ozen Eckert - Lumberton Yowman - West Brook Elia - West Brook Singleton - PA Memorial R. Johnson - PN-G Thomas - Silsbee Ambres - West Brook The QB a few years back from West Hardin. Quirante - Vidor Dallas - WO-S But if you're going on strictly passing, I was more impressed with Green or Yowman...
  17. πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘ πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„ McNeese State, not Sam Houston.
  18. 1. United 2. PA. Memorial 3. Silsbee 4. West Brook 5. Vidor 6. Port Neches - Groves 7. Newton 8. Carthage 9. Lumberton 10. East Chambers
  19. Let's clarify what we're asking for. Greatest football player WHILE THEY WERE IN HIGH SCHOOL or kids from SETX that had the most success at the Collegent /NFL level?
  20. It'll happen.. no way even a little virus will stop the tradition of spring ball in Nederland...
