If Deweyville is playing TEAM ball on BOTH ends of the court, i pick them to win. They are tough when they play together.

Way to go Pirates. Congrats.    This was a very good game by both teams.

Schedules show a girls game at 4:30 and the freshman boys game at 4:30. One will be in the competition gym and the other in the practice gym. The JV and Varsity boys play also. The girls schedule I have just says girls. Don't know if it is JV and Varsity or just Varsity. Good Luck to all!!!

Well said oldyeller21. I agree completely. For someone to already have the pirates doomed after their first scrimmage with the whole team able to get on the court is just ridiculous. We will have our ups and downs but I think we will be fine when district rolls around. Go Pirates.!!!!!!!!!!!

Seth Williams hit a two run BOMB!! Man what a shot. Cousin Keeton Addison had a three run shot and Matt Manning hit a solo. The Pirate TEAM did a great job. They played good TEAM ball!  Keep it going Pirates. Good luck tomorrow nite against the Bucs.

SAU Muleriders still UNDEFEATED in Gulf South Conference play. They swept Christian Brothers University this past weekend. This moves the Muleriders to 15-0 in conference play.

Coach Pachuca would be a great fit. Also think Coach Neece would be great. He was awesome when he was at Deweyville in the past. He also cares about the kids and all sports, not just football. Naturally as the head football coach you want the best for the football team, but as AD you have to be able to want the best for all sports. You have to be able to relate to people. Both Coach Pachuca and Coach Neece are very good at relating to kids and parents.

The Williams kid is doing good. He was shook up and groogy for quite awhile. But he is tough and was at practice today.

Zane Williams had another 2 homerun game on Sunday. He hit 2 solo shots in their game against Harding University. He was also nominated for player of the game and interviewed on the radio after the game. You can listen live to the Mulerider games,

Their next game will be March 21, Friday night at 6:00pm.  Then a double header on March 22, Saturday beginning at 2PM. The Muleriders are currently ranked fifth in this weeks Collegiate Baseball Poll and second in the Ping!Baseball Poll.

Angelina is going in second behind Texarkanna. Because Texarkanna beat AC 3 out of 4 games in conference play. Texarkanna is going in #1 seed, Angelina is going in #2 seed, and the other 2 teams going in are Paris and Navarro.

CONGRATS TO THE AC ROADRUNNERS, WHO MADE IT TO THE REGION XIV TOURNAMENT IN BRENNHAM.(WHICH WILL BE MAY 12-16.) LOCAL STANDOUTS: KEVIN COOPER, ZANE WILLIAMS, BRANDON CASTOLENIA, DARREL BASS. THEY FINISHED THE CONFERENCE AS CO-CHAMPIONS WITH TEXARKANNA FOR REGION XIV EAST. AC WENT 20-6 IN CONFERENCE AND 40-18 OVERALL.

Deweyville's got a tough line up, with all those leftys, and Warren has a pretty solid line up as well.  This game should be close, might come down to whoever plays the best defense.  Good luck to both...

Beaumont's Kevin Cooper has been doing some great pitching for the Angelina Roadrunners.
