  1. I copied and pasted the picks from All District Picks up top. Congrats to all who made it. But,  I must say I think that Harkness the ball handler for LCM should have been first team. She was the only player on the team the coach almost never took out of the game. She is the one the other teams double teamed. She is the one who had great preception of where everyone else was on the floor and made some great passes thus assisting her teammates so they could score. She put 110% effort in to all 4 quarters of the game. You never had to wonder how much effort you were going to get from her. I have no kids in LCM, so NO I am not a disgruntled parent. Just someone who loves to watch area basketball games. I just think a great athlete, should be given the recognition she/he deserves.

  4. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!CONGRATS ZANE & TEAM Best of luck. We hope y'all go all the way. Keep it up. Zane you have worked hard and given it 100% ever since Little League, You have continued with great work ethics, even when injured and in pain. You are proof that success is possible even when you come from a small school. Keep playing with heart and determination. It great to see one of our own, Representing Deweyville & The Devil's Pocket, athletically and academically well. KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I think they are jumping the gun way to soon. Postponment of these events is so unfair to the athletes. I totally agree with prior comments about closing school, work, grocery stores,etc.....
  6. CONGRATS ZANE. Keep up the hard work. Good Luck in the tournament!

  8. Go Pirates. Play to your full potential and you can win this one. I am going with the Pirates in a close one.
  9. A well deserved CONGRATS to you Gary. You are one of the hardest working guys in the area.
  10. Great game by both teams. Williams for Deweyville pitched a great game. So did the EC guys. Awesome game. Keep your heads up Pirates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. His dad said they won both games. 9-6 i think and 10-0 if i remember right.
  12. THAT WOULD BE GREAT. THE ONLY WAY I CAN KEEP UP IS CONTACT THE FAMILY OR CHECK OUT THE UHV.EDU WEBSITE. IT IS NICE TO SEE A HOMETOWN PERSON EXCEL AT THE NEXT LEVEL. HE ALSO GOT AN INVITATION FROM THE MEMBERS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON-VICTORIA CHAPTER OF THE GAMMA BETA PHI SOCIETY TO BECOME A MEMBER DUE TO HIS EXCEPTIONAL ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE. WAY TO GO Z-TRAIN!!!!!!!
